Exposed wood beams, wood flooring, and indoor/outdoor natural stone wood-burning fireplaces, and 1,800 square feet of space with an open concept design is ideal for entertaining family and friends. The kitchen comes fully stocked with all the dishes and utensils you’ll need to get-cooking, with full-sized appliances, granite counter tops, and dining area. Sadly, temps are unseasonably warm and there just wasn’t good skiing available. The house was as described, but more like a hotel than a home as far as decor, kitchen basics, snow removal supplies, no firewood, or a cozy feel. Beds were comfortable and warm. Had to call maintenance twice, once for no hot water and once asking for some ice melt (which they did not supply) due to precarious icy walkways and porch stairs. But they were very prompt and took care of the problems within a couple of hours. Overall, suggestions for improvement would be to add some curtains, rugs, or artwork to dampen in the echo and make it feel more homey and comfortable. Provide ice melt and a snow shovel. Allow for late cancellations if ski slopes are not open. Pet-friendly and good customer service overall.
