¡Escapa de lo cotidiano y vuelve a lo básico! Esta cabaña de estilo rústico tiene vistas a la bahía en Diggers Camp, una ubicación muy única y muy recomendable a la que se accede a través de una carretera sin sellar (aunque mantenida regularmente) y ubicada dentro del Parque Nacional Yuraygir. Esta cabaña de playa tiene 2 dormitorios y un baño con una pequeña terraza de entretenimiento con vistas al promontorio y es ideal para una familia pequeña que busca una escapada aislada. ¡Siéntate en la terraza y mira a los emús y los canguros pasear!

Para aquellos que no han estado antes, Diggers Camp es una escapada verdaderamente especial de lo cotidiano. Hay solo unas pocas casas en el promontorio y está rodeado de hermosas bahías y paseos impresionantes. El Parque Nacional cuenta con largos tramos de playas tranquilas y abundante flora y fauna local. La playa principal está a un corto paseo por una pista ancha y cuenta con una laguna de marea que es ideal para los niños. La playa también es ideal para practicar surf, snorkel y pesca.
La ciudad más cercana es Wooli, que cuenta con una gran variedad de servicios y está a solo 6 km. El pueblo de Diggers Camp está a 1 hora y 15 minutos al norte de Coffs Harbour y a menos de 2 horas al sur de Ballina.

The Blue Groper

We both really loved the rustic experience, it was reminiscent of holidays from our childhoods in the 70’s. The village of Diggers Camp is tucked away in a quaint and utterly serene natural setting that we relaxed deeply into and in fact found it difficult to pull ourselves from in order to return home! We will definitely be returning! Thank you

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at the blue groper many times over the last ten years and keep coming back because the location is exceptional. However, the price has gone up and up and for the price now charged, we expect a bit more. This is a dog friendly property which is great, but unfortunately the couches and cushions during our last stay smelt very strongly of dog. Obviously people have been letting their pets inside and on the furniture. I suggest that after each guest, that the soft furnishings should be given a wash, not just sprayed with febreeze! Also some small changes like towel rails, clothes hangers, pegs, and a mattress topper on the very old and uncomfortable bed would go a long way to making the place more comfortable.

Our week at Diggers

Diggers is a beautiful spot and we would definitely return but not stay at The Blue Groper. The place was filthy with a lot of mouldy furniture/curtains and mouldy/dirty kids toys under all the beds. The managing agents were great at getting a cleaner in the next day but he didn't do that great a job. The bunk beds were comfy but the double bed was old and uncomfortable. On the plus side the oven/stove was great, decent sized fridge and lots of undercover clothesline to hang all our beach stuff. Location is brilliant too.

Excellent beach escape

Our stay at the Blue Groper was the perfect beach getaway! We were relaxed in the beach shack style home. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. The home was well equipped and positioned perfectly for a quiet beach break.

Fabulous place and space

It's definitely rustic but that's all part of the charm....bring your reading pile and install yourself on the front verandah, watch the waves, the birds, the kangaroos, go for lazy beach walks, hike in the bush....bliss.

Quaint Beach Shack

Diggers camp is peaceful and removed from all the hustle and bustle of the city. The beach shack is well equipped with everything you could possibly need. I loved my time there.

Very modest home with modest furnishings. Lovely view, and loved having our pet stay with us. The lawns could have been mowed which would have made for a better outdoor playing area

Perfect location, quite, perfect for a small family, Kid friendly, definitely a rustic style cottage but very convenient, very relaxing atmosphere. Take along your kayak, snorkelling gear, surfboards and fishing gear and you're in your element! loved it will definitely stay again.. Thanks. Reggie from Ballina.
