The building needed some TLC. I noticed immediately when we approached the front door that the building wouldn’t be updated. From far away it looks fine. But the whole building needs to be repainted, wiped down, etc. The actual bones of the building are good and the large suite room was set up nicely for our family of 4. It just felt outdated so now I understand why it was such a deal on the booking site. So more of a personal preference type of thing. The room was clean, I will say. The front desk staff was super friendly as well. The breakfast was not good but that’s ok, it’s free. Other guests were smoking marijuana close to our room but that isn’t the fault of the hotel or staff. Smell went away quickly.

Our room's thermostat was broken, it was 82 degrees the first night. The maintenance guy came and shot it off, said that he'd have to order a new one - it never came. Instead of taking one from another room, WE had to move rooms - complete inconvenience! The room we were moved to had no soap in the dispensers, it was filthy, there were nails coming up in the kitchen flooring, there was no silverware, no corkscrew, one coffee cup for 5 of us! The hotel offered NO discount or anything - we were NOT happy and probably will not ever be going back as we were not compensated at all through Expedia or the hotel

Our room was very sticky, i went and bought clorox wipes the cupboards counter and stove top were just ick. Like someone pours syrup all over it. Our stove kept turning on and off so i called front desk. The Gm on duty was very nice and showed concern. She offered to move us rooms but i had just unpacked and it was 10pm
