Having stayed for our anniversary a few years ago and having a top notch experience, we decided to do it again for our tenth. Ownership and management has changed since then, and we noticed a decline in multiple ways. #1 greeting at check in was much less staffed, no anniversary greeting (although I messaged ahead of time), no welcome cocktail as previous stay, no room upgrade either for our platinum status or tenth anniversary celebration, no in room acknowledgement or welcome( last time they had a welcome basket with champagne and chocolate). The hotel in general was not as cleanly or upkept for a luxury category property. The room had no coffee maker so we looked to order room service breakfast. No menus or mention of it in room or on tv that I could find. I pushed the room service button on phone for it not to be answered. Finally I got an operator who put me through to restaurant. I ordered and it was delivered like grub hub in paper bags and plastic ware. No tray, no silverware, no class. Not what you would expect for such a property. The one perk we might have received due to our platinum status was a later checkout, but the maid busted in before that and said she was not notified. While walking to our car on our way out, they had their garbage area open with sewage smelling water flowing across walkway that we had to dodge/get around. Also forgot there was what looked like pee on top of toilet tank. Not like it used to be.
