This house in Dunes of Destin was perfect for our 2 families! Our favorite part was the very short walk to the beach, where we spent most of our time. The house felt very open with tons of natural light, seating indoors and outdoors. The location of this house allowed for our teens to walk to ice cream and shops.

The beach access was AMAZING. Private beach within a short walk. The house came with a wagon and some other fun beach accessories. Nice shampoo/condition/body wash packs provided in each bathroom. We loved all of the balconies.

Quiet neighborhood. Convenient location

Overall good stay. Plenty of towels and bath cloths for a large guest count. Twin beds are not in the second floor bedroom as listed. Third floor is very hot- air conditioner was set on the lowest it would go, but didn’t cool the third floor well.

One time stay

Odd resort. Some people partied hard and loud all night long, so much for rules. Don't ask where the community pool is...you'll get a nasty text saying you get a beach and a lake view, no pool. Interesting...we had a code for the pool gate and pool bathroom. Since no one cared to correct any of this, we won't be back.

Awesome

Very close to most tourist spots. Property is very spacious and backyard lakefront just amazing. I would choose this spot next Destin trip without hesitation. Not a complain but the upper floors stayed warmer than the bottom floors. If needs checked. 🙂

Great house for multiple families

This house had great rooms and beds for multiple families to stay together. Two kitchen tables gave plenty of space for everyone to sit at dinner. There are steps throughout the main floor which was hard for grandma and our baby. All the kids loved the turtles in the lake behind the house. There was a major plumbing issue during our stay. Management tried to fix it without inconveniencing us. The house is a short walk to a wonderful private neighborhood beach. Be warned, you can’t bring your own umbrella. The location is great. Short drive to stores and restaurants.

Great location and great access to private beach

Beach access was wonderful. House came with beach wagon to borrow that came in really handy. We were two large families with 7 kids and 4 adults. House was perfect for sleeping everyone in bed.

Almost there..

The home itself and the location was perfect for us. We are a group of volleyball players that come to Destin twice a year for the fudpuckers volleyball tournament in Okaloosa Island. This home seemed like it would be perfect but just fell short. Certain bathrooms don’t have doors and certain doors don’t lock which is an issue for privacy. My girlfriend went to take a bath and when she turned on the water spiders began pouring out of the faucet and drain. Just seems like it was mildly neglected and could just a little bit of TLC and the house would be spectacular. Also I’ve never been to a rental home with such little essentials like soap or even just salt and pepper in the kitchen. Pots and pans were hard to come by, so honestly just a lack of kitchen essentials and that’s just an issue that I have not ever come across. This home is so nice and spacious and in a great place it is just lacking a little bit of love that would push this home to greater heights. Our experience was pleasant excluding those things just sucks that the home fell short of expectations.

Great location

The home was beautiful…perfect layout. The view from dining area is actually way better than the pictures. The outdoor space was perfect for us to spread out and enjoy the view of the water. There were a few imperfections from normal wear and tear that did not effect our stay at all. The walk to the beach was really short and my little one enjoyed the community pool.
