Beautiful, comfortable house

We loved our few days here and hope to return. The location made it easy to explore the area. It’s in a quiet new neighborhood and Palm Springs is just fifteen min drive away allowing us to make several trips there to explore. Comfortable bed and well appointed primary bath, huge kitchen with a starter set of everything we needed to cook a meal (oil/seasoning/pans). The coffee bar was amazingly stocked with tools and ingredients to make your morning favorite. A very cool touch. It wasn’t pool weather but the hot tub was much appreciated. Rain stopped us from using the fire pit as well, but it would have been a great place to watch the stars at night in the private backyard. Owner was very friendly and responsive and quickly resolved a problem that popped up, including asking our permission before letting a repair person in.I’d recommend without hesitation.

Fabulous Stay

Property is so nice. Pool is incredible. Coffee bar was excellent. We took advantage of the fully stocked kitchen to make some meals. Would absolutely stay here again. Nice assortment of games too!

Wonderful stay!

Everything was wonderful! Very clean, great communication from the hosts, lots of space for our family to enjoy. We especially loved the hot tub. Location is convenient to both Joshua Tree National Park and Palm Springs. We would stay here again without hesitation.

Desert Descanso 🏜️

We came with our Softball organization to come and attend The Mary Nutter Classic in Cathedral City. So this was perfect, we enjoyed the jacuzzi and the kids the pool. Perfect for two small size families! House had a cozy feeling, we relaxed and enjoy the evenings! Highly recommend 🙌

We had a great stay. House is spacious and clean. Nice amount of amenities and supplied well. We did not use pool or spa as the weather was cooler than normal. Close to great food and activities. Bed was comfortable and area was quiet. Would definitely stay again if we were back in the area.

Great home

The house is in a very quiet neighborhood. It was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes as well as a coffee bar that we enjoyed. The doors have child locks and alarms going out to the pool which is a great safety feature for families with kids. The owner was very easy to communicate with.

Loved it!

The Descanso House is a perfect little get away. We stayed here for Coachella Music Festival Weekend 1 and loved every bit of it. Location was not too far from the venue and the house is beautiful with a boho chic feel. The pool, jaccuzzi and backyard are nice and spacious. Hosts made it easy and convenient to check in/out and even accommodated us to check in a day earlier than the original date. 10/10 recommend.

Great stay

This was an amazing vacation. We brought our 6 kids, they had fun playing in the pool which was heated for us. They enjoyed the hot tub. Beds are comfortable, kids had everything they needed. Neighborhood was nice and quiet.

Beautiful property, tons of amenities, reasonable cleaning expectations.

This is one of the best rental experiences I’ve had in awhile. The property is beautiful and in an area that I personally find to be one of the most underrated spots in the country. Brand new house, attention to detail, great coffee and cocktail stations, plenty of blankets and linens, big TV, lovely hot tub/pool with views of San Jacinto. It was very reasonably priced, good communication with the owner, and- in contrast to what a lot of people have been complaining about and what I’ve also personally experienced in the industry- no long list of chores to be completed upon checkout. Very reasonable short list of basic cleaning up after yourself. I look forward to staying here again!

Family Fun

We stayed at this beautiful home over the weekend to celebrate my mothers birthday. We all loved that we had our own space to relax. The kids loved the pool. We live in a pretty busy part of the city and it was nice having a quiet weekend. Will definitely book again!
