It really is the sweet life!
The house, situated on the canal, is beautifully restored and the owners, Pam and Marcus are beyond welcoming! The homemade apricot jam was still warm on my croissant. We were lucky enough to get the first of the cherries in season. The two expats have had several lifetimes' worth of adventures-- it's hard to leave, but you're inspired to go on and have some adventures of your own. It'd be a great place to have a writers' retreat, solo or with a small group. Au revoir, we hope.

Tolles B&B!
Wir waren im August 2024 einige Tage bei Markus zu Gast. Es hat uns wunderbar gefallen! Das Frühstück ist sehr, sehr vielfältig und reichhaltig. Der Pool hat insbesondere den Kindern sehr viel Spaß gemacht. Markus ist ein wirklich toller Gastgeber mit vielen Tipps für die Umgebung und zum Essen gehen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Super petit séjour chez Markus qui est très accueillant . Belle chambre d'hôtes, nous avons bien profité de toutes les commodités partagées : piscine, jardin... avec notre fils de 4 ans, ainsi que visité les alentours de cette très belle r égion : le Creusot, Beaune, Chalon-sur-Saône, promenade le long du Canal. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !
