Great Weekend Getaway

We stayed for four nights and was very pleased. Everything was clean, easy to get to, the porch is amazing, my 3 year granddaughter played out there forever. The boat dock was perfect for our boat, and we fished off the dock as well, The owner was easy to communicate with, gave us a tour when we got there and made chocolate chip cookies. I will definitely keep this at the top of our list if we are in need of a place again. Thanks for a great stay.

Absolutely fantastic!

Escaped the WI and MN cold for a long weekend in Fl with some golf/auto racing. Jody was fantastic! Her place was exactly what we were looking for, and the location was perfect. She met us at check in and had baked cookies for us. Explained everything very well. The villa was very clean and had everything we needed. Loved the screen porch and dock area. Brought a few poles with us and caught some fish. Astor was the perfect small town we were looking to stay in (close to our activities). The restaurants are all great, and everyone was very friendly. We had a great time. Looking to do it again next year and would definitely book the Villa with Jody!

Birthday Weekend Getaway

We have been to Lake George for many years staying at many different places but this is the first place that had fresh baked cookies and a sign welcoming our family when we arrived. The cookies were a huge hit! This house is set up to just show up and relax! Pool table, fishing, games, just to name a few. The house was well stocked with essentials and little touches you might not expect in a rental property. We had a great time and hope to return in the future!

Cute river house

The villa had everything you need! Extra blankets, coffee maker, comfy beds, clean. The porch has plenty of seating out back to enjoy a glass of wine or your morning coffee. Neighborhood is quiet and safe. We would definitely stay again!

Perfect getaway

This house is just lovely! Decorated so well and stocked for all your needs! The host is so kind and has literally thought of everything! We will definitely be back! The dock and screened in porch were exactly what we were looking for.

Amazing Place

This place was absolutely adorable. The outdoor area offered so much relaxation and things to do. Mother Nature had other plans so we could not enjoy all the space but that is beyond anyone’s control. We were greeted with a welcome sign on the door and homemade cookies which was a pleasant surprise. The only issue we had was the internet wouldn’t work great inside but we were able to get service out on the porch which was fine for us. The inside was very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this home and plan to possibly stay again in the future. Jody communicated very well about everything and we were even able to get in a little earlier than we originally planned. Thank you for a great stay!

Tranquil river retreat

This is a nice little property with all of the amenities you would need for your stay, we loved the screened in back porch, the outdoor patio, and the boathouse to keep the boat for the weekend! The property was very clean and comfortable. Jody welcomed us upon arrival and gave us a quick tour of the property. We loved the fresh baked chocolate chip cookies. Next time we’re in Astor for a weekend getaway, we will be looking forward to another stay here.

Drawbacks if you're 60+

The accommodations were charming. Everything was clean. Personalized welcome - homemade cookies and a welcome to our family at the door. Beds were great. The screened in patio, overlooking the canal was delightful. However there was very little comfortable seating. Living room had a daybed 4 feet off the ground and chairs from a dinette set (wheels on legs). No couches, love seats, or stuffed upholstered chairs. Patio had 2 chairs that were regular chair height. The other dozen seats were all bar stools, most with no backs. Our aging backs longed for regular, comfortable seating. Definitely would recommend for a younger crowd.
