The ocean view was incredible. A few problems we ran into: the balcony chairs were inside when we arrived, we could not figure out how to get them outside to the balcony. We called the number provided and they said “they were doing some maintenance

Great Escape

We always stay at the Wyndham Ocean Walk Resort when visiting Daytona Beach. This was the best rental we’ve ever stayed in. It had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the super comfortable bed, the awesome a/c and the taller balcony chairs. Can’t wait to stay in this lovely condo again.

Oceanwalk South Tower

Best unit I have stayed in at Oceanwalk South Tower in years. Had real furniture that’s in good shape, updated and clean. Owner called to make sure everything was good and to call if anything needed.

A great place to relax

The location is perfect. 6th floor is ideal for sitting on the balcony and watching the surf. Even though the weather was rainy for most of the week, it is still relaxing to sit with a drink in your hand, listen to the waves, and leave behind all the stress of everyday life. The unit is ideal for a couple, everything you need to just getaway and relax. Lots of shopping, restaurants, and activities within walking distance and the 4th floor connects to a number of shops and restaurants without having to get out in the rain.

Clash Daytona trip

We had a great 3 night stay! Unit was clean, matched the pictures, and everything was as advertised. Check-in (and out) was painless. Great communication from owners leading up to and after visit, and would definitely stay again! As a bonus, we got to see a SpaceX launch Saturday night from the beach!

Ocean walk resort is by far and away the best place to stay on Daytona beach. If you like many pools, jacuzzi’s, pool bar, lots of restaurants etc., this is the place to stay. We stayed here 18 years ago for my daughters birthday. Always wanting to go back we finally did again for her recent birthday. We were kinda nervous to go back because we didn’t really know what condition\wear and tear we would find. When we first stayed there it was practically brand new (2 bedroom condo with oceanfront balcony) and knowing how the public and being by the salt water can really age and ruin a property if not well maintained. We were extremely satisfied and relieved to find the property well maintained and in good shape-from the entire pool areas to the inside check in lobby (as compared to the Hilton next door which from the outside has not been maintained nearly as well)! We researched and stayed in a nicely well maintained condo (unit 609) so our room was very well kept and had a great balcony and front ocean view! Overall any property on the ocean as well as this size is going to get a lot of wear and tear and salt damage, but hats off to Ocean Walk Resort for maintaining the pools, building paint, inside lobby and common areas, fresh and clean smell throughout, friendly staff and safe!! We’ll definitely be back, not really another alternative to Ocean Walks proximity to the pier, ocean walk shops and restaurants, souvenir shopping, boardwalk, entire pool and pool bar area!!!

Loved the resort. Hated waiting til 4 to get into Condo especially checking out before 10. Had to wash towels and washcloths every night to have enough. Condo was as advertised. Great location.

Ocean Walk is awesome!

The condo is in an awesome location. Right by the pier, Ocean Walk Shoppes, and multiple restaurants. The diner across the street is a must for breakfast! The resort has everything you could want. The only complaint about the resort would be the practice of people saving chairs. We learned the hard way that, even though the signs all say No Saving Chairs, people do. We saw one large group save chairs every day and not be at the pool for hours. One day, they saved chairs and a table with umbrella by 8am, and then they went to the beach until about 4pm. Just so rude. And the only complaint about the condo was that the kitchen wasn’t very well equipped. Only four forks total. Very limited selection of pots and pans and cooking utensils. No salt & pepper. No basics at all. We’ve rented many VRBOs and normally they come with some basics. And there were probably only 6 plastic hangers in the bedroom closet. More would be nice. But overall, we had a very nice stay. We would recommend the Wyndham Ocean Walk Resort!

Summer Beach Vacation

We enjoyed the condo. The location was great and we were able to walk to everything we wanted to do. The staff was helpful with showing us which garage to park in and the correct elevators to use. There were only a couple of minor issues during our stay. One is the people below us were smoking inside their unit and we could smell it very strongly inside ours and the other was a maintenance team came to repair a missing piece of trim without notifying us first. They were really nice and quickly introduce themselves, but it just startled me to come back to my room and find two people inside. Also just fyi there is a Keurig coffee maker in the unit instead of a traditional one. It wasn't a huge deal as they do have Starbucks in the lobby that you can get coffee from. Overall everything else was wonderful and we enjoyed our stay and would stay again. The view, location and amenities are all great.
