A beautiful and spacious house, perfect location. We stayed with 7 people and a dog and were very comfortable. The house is well equipped and very clean. I had one little question and support was right there.Daufuskie is the perfect place to rewind and live slow. Loved it! Thank you!

Incredible property - exactly as advertised. We have stayed on Melrose multiple times and this was by far our favorite rental. Clean, updated and centrally located, with outstanding communication from the rental company. Melrose is working hard to rebound, with all the amenities up and running. Great staff, very helpful. We highly recommend and we will be back!

Hidden Treasure

Our family stayed in the Sycamore Cottage last week and had the most wonderful time. We saw tons of wildlife, beautiful sunrises from the cottage, and great food at the local restaurants. We will be going again soon.

Awesome Vacation

Within our first 48 hours we saw alligators, armadillo, dolphins and baby turtles going from their nest to the ocean ... absolutely amazing experience and island. The house was perfect for us, every afternoon was quiet reading time on the screened in porch enjoying the view, everyone had their own shower and bathroom, and the folks at DRG were extremely accommodating and even checked in to make sure we settled in alright after our first night.

This house offered everything we needed - a great view to enjoy over breakfast, east walk to the beach, plenty of space for all of us to spread out in. It is a very relaxing spot!

House was perfect and our stay on daufuskie was great. Everyone involved with the cottage rental was very helpful and actually everyone we dealt with on daufuskie was more than willing to help us in any way they could. A good choice for vacation! Hope to return.

Beach vacation

Great property! Beach very private. Staying in island was very hard. Had to have pretty much all you needed for groceries before getting there. Couldn’t get anything shipped last minute. Few restaurants on island can be very pricey

Absolutely perfect!!!

This was by far the BEST vacation rental home our family has ever stayed in -- for many, many reasons!! The home is gorgeous and even more spacious than it looks in photos. The location is ideal being so close to the beach and the pool, yet private and quiet. The beds are extremely comfortable. The kitchen, living room, and screened porch had everything we needed!! AND on top of all that is so wonderful about this luxury vacation home, Deb Smith from DRG should receive an award for the way she helped us navigate a family emergency during our stay. She took "taking care of our guests" to a whole new level! We will 100% stay here again when we return to Daufuskie Island!

Best place to stay for large families

Great spring break vacation

This property was wonderful for a multigenerational family group of ten to stay for a week. It was our first time to stay on Daufuskie Island and we have already started talking about what we will do there next year. There is a learning curve associated with staying on Daufuskie but now that we have mastered it we look forward to coming again. (A shout out to Keri our valet grocery shopper she was amazing. And Chef Spencer from Savannah who made a birthday meal special.)

A beautiful intro to Daufuskie

This gorgeous home exceeded all of our expectations. It felt like brand new construction and we loved how incredibly clean and spacious it was. We used the screened in porch all day long and the view of the beach was beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked and there was lots of room for our entire group to be seated together for meals. The management company was incredibly helpful and answered every question we had. We would stay here again without hesitation. Thank you for helping to make our first trip to Daufuskie a perfect one!

New Favorite

This house is one of my all time favorite vacations rentals. We had a group of 10, 5 couples and this house was perfect: great location, comfortable beds, and good WIFI. (I know, its vacation, but some had to stay connected a little for work). All of the logistics for a vacation on Daufuskie Island can be a challenge, but the rental agency guided us through every step. We all loved everything about the island and will probably be back!

Luxury oasis retreat

Beautiful accommodations on a secluded uncrowded beach which was great for our family of four. We spent hours tooling along the roads of Dafuskie in our golf cart. Nature abounds. Very enjoyable stay snd trip

Fabulous stay!

The cottage was perfect, better than photos! The island was so unique, so wild and so beautiful. Saw Eagles, deer, and alligators! From a distance! So much fun exploring in the golf carts. Weather was different every day, didnt have a bug issue because it wasnt hot. Not much was open but we had a blast! Such great locals!

A Beachfront Beauty

This comfortable and clean cottage was as advertised. We could tell the house had been recently renovated into a luxury rental. There was plenty of room for all of us. Everyone loved having their own master suites with bathrooms. The proximity to the beach and beautiful views all day long kept us relaxed all weekend. We love the privacy of Daufuskie Island and would stay at this rental again without hesitation.

Beach house

House is perfect. Master suite is 5 star. Sally Thompson’s tour was a highlight of getting to know daufuskie. Recommend lunch at Lucy bell’s and dinner at the crab company (we did takeout). We cooked two nights and had all the tools we needed.
