I stayed at this hotel for four nights, so there was a lot of time to notice things. If I was there for a night or two, I probably wouldn't have noticed or let some of these things go. Nothing was unsafe or disgusting, but a lot of the inconveniences added up to more negative experience. First things I immediately noticed in my room was that the handlebar to the shower had lost a connector and was just dangling down on one side. The body wash dispenser was also empty. I would hope there is some sort of checklist that housekeeping has to check or some way of communicating to maintenance a very obvious issue. Next, the fitness center water dispenser didn't work, so you have to go out to the breakfast area or pool hall to refill your cups. One major disappointment was that I had asked the front desk on the first day of my stay if there was guest laundry, to which they said it was on the second floor. I went there 2 days later to see that both dryers were out of service, meaning doing laundry onsite was impossible. 1) there is a service number right on the laundry equipment, so I would've expected them to put in an order to not inconvenience guests. 2) I wish the front desk would've made me aware of this when I asked about the laundry so I wouldn't have wasted 15 minutes thinking I was going to use the amenity. On the positive side, the breakfast attendant was a friendly familiar face each morning and the breakfast was sufficient.

The room was clean and well maintained, and the hotel has a very good location that made getting around easy and convenient. However, the front desk staff could be more welcoming and friendly to improve the overall guest experience.

The staff was great. Excellent customer service. Would I stay at the LaQuinta again? NEVER! My Room had roaches, the neighbors had dogs that barked the whole time I was there, the people above me were loud and stomped all night long, MANAGEMENT was never on property and I never received a call back when i complained…. Then when i arrived to my room there was a used roll of toilet paper still in use, nothing new, USED. That is very unsanitary.This property management needs to be changed because it seems the only good employees are the staff… SHAME ON YOU LaQuinta in suites in Lewisville Texas
