Lovely villa away from the crowds

We were so lucky to have reserved this excellent hotel for our stay in Hoi An. The family that runs it is very welcoming and so helpful with everything. The rooms are very spacious and well appointed, the bed is super comfy but most of all very relaxing. The hotel is situated 3km away from the city centre and its located just in front of the river so you have beautiful peaceful views. The first day we went to town with the free bicycles they provide and the remaining days we rented a scooter to wander around, it was perfect. They have a nice restaurant in the city centre as well and if you stay at the hotel you get a 15% discount. The owner and all the staff are so nice and we thank them for making our stay so wonderful, one day they brought us a bottle of their grandmother own rice wine that was so delicious!!!! If we come back definitely will stay here again!!! Thank you for everything.

Lovely modern villa with a very warm and inviting pool. We made use of the bike to ride into Hoi An and also to the beach which was a nice plus. I had read other reviews about the possibility of renting kayaks or using the house long boat, but I never saw these items. I also had read reviews that the previous staff spoke English. While a neighbor was available to translate for important items, we had a few language issues with the staff just on passing issues like the availability of the boats or my breakfast order. For the price, I would stay again in a heartbeat.

All the staff are extremely welcoming and helpful in trip planning. Speak excellent English. Serve a great free breakfast and complimentary bikes for commutes to either the beach or ancient town. Perfect location if you prefer quiet in the river. I will definitely stay here again.

Perfekt mellan stad och strand

Hotellet är litet och familjärt. Här är det lugnt och stilla och läget är perfekt mellan staden och stranden. Cyklar finns att låna. Familjen som äger hotellet är mycket trevlig och hjälpsam. God frukost. Vi hade en mycket bra vistelse hos Serene River villa!

Not convenient

You need to take taxi everytime you want to go out, you may take the car provided by the villa but it is more expensive than you crab a taxi.

Truly a Serene Experience!

The villa is situated about a 10 to 15 minute bike ride from the center of historic old town Hoi An. It's picturesque location is alongside a river and around the corner, you will find rich paddy fields, cranes, and cows. The hotel is itself is quite new and the staff is the most kind hearted and thoughtful folks you will encounter. From my many stays throughout Vietnam, i would rate this as one of the best experiences. You're treated with warm smiles and genuine care for your experience in Hoi An. Fresh breakfast is served every morning and the staff will cater to your specific needs should there be something that you'd like. Just make sure to tell them in advance. Aside from the awesome breakfast, the room is quite modern with all the amenities and quite spacious too! There is a small swim pool that you can take a dip or should you choose, you can rent the Kayak for a fee and explore the winding river in Hoi An. The round boat is actually free but due to time constraints, I did not get a chance to use it. Did i mention they off free bikes? Yes! And the bikes are in very good quality and will more than allow you to explore Hoi An. Overall, this is a fantastic place to stay that makes you feel at home. I'll definitely come back again!

Amazing experience

It is different. This is a family run accommodation, on the bank of river. This is a brand new property, the room we got was huge, spotlessly clean, with a nice balcony. The hotel provides you free bicycle which you can use to visit hoi an town centre which is about 4km. Our stay was very pleasant and peaceful, staffs were very friendly. You can use hotel pick up and drop off airport service which is cheaper. Otherwise the airport cabs may struggle to find the location.

Absolutely amazing place

This was the must amazing hoilday place that my partner Patricia and I stayed and believe me we had stayed in quiet a few.This Villa is owned by a very friendly family who look after you like one of their own nothing was ever a problem and place was spotless clean the beds and towels were changed everyday even if they did not need it .Thao who is the oldest of the family always had time for us her family are wonderful.They area was beautiful your view from the Villa is looking on to the river amazing and the Vietnamese people are very friendly we will be back to stay here for sure.

Bästa boendet någonsin

Helt underbart litet hotell som är helt nytt. Fräscha rum, bra frukost, lugnt läge, gratis lån av cyklar, pool, bra wi-fi mm. Läget är bra ligger mellan strand och stad. Men det som gör det här stället så speciellt och fantastiskt är familjen som driver det. De är så måna om att sina gäster ska ha det bra och det är äkta. Vi inbjudna två gånger till deras hem för lunch tex. Vi har aldrig bott på något ställe någonsin där man varit så gästvänliga och vi ville inte åka därifrån. Rekommenderas varmt.
