Absolutely perfect!!!!!! We woke up in paradise every single morning! The house comes with everything you could need or want! Kimberly was so helpful with any questions we had and gave us great suggestions.We look forward to visiting again!!!

The property is absolutely stunning. The pictures don't do it justice. The owners and property manager were so kind and attentive to anything and everything I needed. I stayed in the cottage which was literally brand new and the perfect amount of space I needed. The ocean and outdoor pool were breathtaking. The entire process from booking to returning home was wonderful. I can't wait to return!

First, let me say that the property manager was fantastic and responsive. The description of "newly remodeled" isn't quite accurate. The guest house appears new; the main house may have new paint and some new furniture. All in all, it was a great location. The main kitchen was dated and lacked some basic cooking supplies, like baking sheets. While we could piece together enough plates for everyone, I would not call the serving pieces well stocked for a larger group. The kitchen could use organization. The fridge, washer, and dryer were dated, but worked fine. Many of the locks on the doors and windows didn't work. Overall, it was fine. I would choose this place for the location in Current and seclusion, not for the amenities.

Great week at Tranquilville

Tranquilville was fantastic. The pics can't do the view justice. No way to capture it in a pic. It is stunning in person. We had a great time and would absolutely go back and stay here again. Eleuthera has become one of our favorite vacation spots. There are so many fun adventures to take on Eleuthera. We really loved the sapphire blue hole. But just a heads up the ladder climbing out is tricky. The boat rides from the marina are quick and easy to bounce around from island to island. We went back and forth to Spanish Wells and Harbour Island a lot on the boat taxis. It is very easy and inexpensive to get around on the boat taxis and the people are all very nice. Roger and Kimberly, who are the property managers, are the best people and were so good to us. My daughter left a bag of jewelry on the bed in her room at Tranquilville when we left. Roger and Kimberly went through a lot of trouble to get it back to us. It had to be taken on a boat to another island and then shipped back to us in North Carolina. I tried over and over to get them to send me the costs so I could reimburse them for their shipping expenses and troubles, but they would not let me pay them back. This is just a sample of how great these people are. And everywhere we went the locals all know them and say the same about them. Enjoy tranquilville and Eleuthera. We highly recommend.

Outstanding Ocean Views

This home is spacious and perfectly positioned for beautiful ocean views from the kitchen, living room, dining area, and master bedroom. A large covered and open porch overlooks the backyard and the water beyond, with comfortable outdoor furnishings that invite you to relax wherever you sit. Just down a short concrete path is a nice little pool that's great for cooling off while enjoying the ocean view. A bit further along the path, you'll find a striking walkway carved directly into the rock. Inside, we especially appreciated the well-stocked kitchen with all the appliances we needed. The personal touches were a nice surprise, including fresh limes and mangos picked from the trees on the property's lush grounds. There's plenty of counter space, a sizable dining table, and a large seating area in the living room. The ceiling fans are strong and kept every room comfortable. The newly built cottage has equally impressive views and all the standalone amenities you would want. We spent hours enjoying the pool and the ocean. You can walk straight from the steps out to two long sandbars that keep you in comfortable chest- to waist-deep water, making for easy walks parallel to the shore. We also took the kayak out and loved the easy close-to-shore paddling. If you stay here, we highly recommend Captain Sheldon at Exotic Excursions for a boat outing. He took us exactly where we wanted to go—collecting sea glass, sand dollars, and conch shells. He even brought us to a sandbar where we interacted with stingrays and played on swings right over the crystal-clear water. It was a fantastic experience. As an added bonus, we were fortunate to meet the owners, Stephen and Jill. They were warm and engaging, and we really enjoyed our conversations with them. They were very respectful of our privacy—which we appreciated—but also easy to talk to, so we looked forward to seeing them. Overall, it was a fantastic stay. We'd happily return to Tranquileville and would recommend the home to others. As always, working with Pam at Eleuthera Vacation Rentals was a pleasure—she's very responsive and knowledgeable about the island. Thanks, EVR!
