Nice house in a very pretty location.Had an extremely difficult time entering the property. The combination lock is broken. Spare key was not there, finally used the lockbox with help of online manager. Very Frustrating after flying across the country and arriving tired at night.(House owned by corporation, not family.). Door was finicky and difficult to open all 9 days. (Reported in a June review.) Fix the door!!Basic supplies missing when we arrived. Area manager provided: hand soap, TP, dish soap, toaster, Keurig. She was very helpful.There is a lovely back deck on the water. We were in Annapolis several days(easy drive) but the days we were at the house the next door neighbor tied his dog outside and the dog barked incessantly for 3 hours at a time. (Also reported in an earlier review.) So a peaceful afternoon was interrupted by a noisy dog. :(There is ample furniture downstairs, however, the bedrooms need bureaus! No place to put things that are not hung up. (Shorts, T-shirts, underwear, socks, etc) At least luggage stands would be helpful.Pretty house with a lovely view…and a few glitches.

Beautiful home, poor check-in.

Well, I would love to give this property five stars, but we had a very difficult time getting into the property as the padlock code did not work and we were stuck in pouring down rain at the time. We also had a difficult time contacting the owner due to the Vacasa Management. The contact information gave us an automated AI generated responder, which just continued to give us the same information to get into the house. We tried repeatedly to speak to an actual person, but that was very difficult. We eventually were able to get into the home, and after that all was great. We did have a couple of mice in the home which we relocated outside. Other than the initial entrance, the stay was great. The property was very clean, on a great location, and we had no other issues afterwards. I would recommend that the property owners be more specific as to where the spare key is located, as that was very confusing.

Relaxing Weekend

We had a relaxing family weekend, visiting my som who is at USNA. The home was beautiful and the back deck space was very relaxing - we all had a great time. Home was clean and beds were comfortable.

A Relaxing Spot on the Water

My girlfriend and I stayed here for her milestone birthday weekend, and were both very pleased. The house was quite clean on arrival, and we both very much enjoyed the waterfront view. The kayaks were also really nice to have on site. I forgot my fishing gear, unfortunately, but we had a nice time paddling around the inlet. We enjoyed our little getaway very much, and hope to do it again before too long!

Just What We Needed!

Where do I even start with how GREAT this rental was. Everything from start to finish was exceptional. When we arrived, getting into the house was no issue at all. It was exactly per the instructions we received for check in. We walked into the IMMACULATELY clean house and couldn't believe it. I mean, not a spot of dirt to be seen. We arrived later in the evening so explored the house and then went to bed in extremely comfortable beds. So comfortable that we looked at the mattress type to replace our own at home. The view from the master bedroom cannot be beat, we opened the sliding door and closed the screen door and listened to all of the sounds of the peaceful location and enjoyed watching the boats float around. We came with our 6-year-old and 12-year-old and when I say they sprinted out of bed, directly to the dock to fish, I don't even know if they said good morning. They spent so much time on the dock and then in the kayaks and paddleboard. The home also had everything you needed - outdoor grill, outdoor firepit, coffee pot, big fridge, plenty of pantry space for snacks, all dishes we needed. There was not one time where I wished "oh shoot, I wish they had...xyz." I would rent this house over and over again. The location was peaceful, the home was so clean, I felt so relaxed the entire time. And it was so close to Annapolis that we were able to pop over and check that out when we were ready.

Peaceful Retreat

Well appointed and comfortable. Beautiful sunset views and calm water for kayaking. Target, Wegmans, and many restaurants within 20 mins. Bring firestarter, a lighter and extra wood for the fire pit.

Fun time in Herald Harbor!

We loved stayed at the "red house". Being a step away from the water is both relaxing and so much fun because of all the activities you can do. We enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding with our 5&7 year old boys with the provided gear and fishing as well with the gear we brought. The master bedroom faces west, so we got to watch the beautiful sunsets. Herald Harbor is a wonderful neighborhood for walking around, beach access, a park and playground and more. Definitely recommended this spot for a stay in the Annapolis area.
