What a great cabin! The host was fantastic. Archie made sure we knew details ahead of time and since we had a late arrival, made sure we got in alright. It was a very comfortable stay with extra touches that made us feel welcomed. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect comfortable and cozy winter getaway with everything our family needed. Excellent communication with host. We’d love to come back in the summer to take advantage of the sweet bunkhouse. Kids would LOVE it!

Thought of everything

So well appointed. Conveniently laid out. When we thought we'd left "something" behind, we found "one" in a drawer. Quiet and beautiful. Our new rescue didnt know what to think at first, but he settled right in.

This was the third time we stayed at this cabin. We absolutely love it.The cabin is cute, cozy and close to town. Plenty of amenities included with the cabin to make your stay enjoyable and memorable. We especially enjoyed fishing off the dock and the fire pit.The cabin is also located near hiking and bike trails. The Milford Mine Memorial Park nearby was amazing.

Ideal place to relax

The cottage is on a beautiful lake with a dock. The lake breeze is lovely. If you are looking for a quiet place to relax, you've found it. It's comfortable (including the bed!), spacious, clean, and well-stocked with eating and cooking supplies. It isn't too far a drive to various hiking and park areas. Crosslake itself has a great ice cream shop and grocery store. Archie, the host, was also great. He communicated everything we needed to know from beginning to end. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Cabin

We loved your cabin very much, thank you!Archie was a great host, very attentive to our travel plans. He recommended the supper club Norway Ridge which was a beautiful place and amazing food!Our son ice fished each day and we watched him by the warm fire in the porch. Great view!!!

Family vacation

We had a wonderful time at White Pine Cottage. The cottage was very clean and decorated like a true lake cabin. Very charming! The pantry was well stocked with cooking oils and spices so cooking was fun. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning was a real plus. The outdoor area was very nice; we especially enjoyed building a fire in the firepit and making s’mores. The lake was clear and very swimmable. Thank you so much for providing a lovely place for our family to stay.

White Pines Cottage

I appreciated the quiet solitude of nature. Watching the sunrise in the morning, and seeing the multitude of stars at night. The lake was peaceful and stunning to behold. All it could be and more. thank you.

Birthday weekend getaway

Loved celebrating my birthday here. Got to see the northern lights! Great communication with the owner a few days prior. Let us check in a few hours early. Great access to the lake, had everything we needed to grill. Cabin was well kept, and clean. T.V, internet and lots of games to play. We will definitely be coming back with our 4yr old.

A PERFECT weekend getaway!!!

We stayed at White Pine Cottage to celebrate my husband’s birthday as a family w/ our 4yo son and golden retriever. The cabin was clean, cozy, and had every amenity we needed. Exactly as described and pictured. They must treat the property bc the mosquitos and ticks weren’t bad at all. Definitely appreciated as the cabin we stayed at last year was FULL of both and hindered our experience. Our dog and son loved running around the backyard and playing on the dock. We also took the kayaks out for a trek around Goodrich Lake - a quiet, peaceful, clean lake. Arch was a fantastic host, so nice and responsive w/ great recommendations! At his suggestion, we went to Norway Ridge Supper Club (~18min from cabin) for my hubby’s birthday dinner. Would highly recommend! Formed many great memories at this spot last weekend and cannot wait to go back. Heads up: there’s only one child’s life jacket so if you have multiple littles you may wanna bring your own!

Cabin Retreat

This is the second time we have stayed at this cabin. The cabin is clean and cozy. Great fishing off the dock. The location itself is quiet and peaceful but close enough to surrounding towns if additional supplies are needed.

Very Clean and Cozy

What I liked best about this property was that it was very clean and didn't have a bad smell! It didn't smell like anything, which is perfect for me! We were looking for something quiet, cozy (small as we are just a couple), and clean. That's what this cabin was! Property manager was absolutely fantastic as well. Great communication and great property.

Cozy and comfy

I really loved the bed! I had not slept that good in a very long time. In fact I couldn’t wait to get to bed the 2nd night. The recliner for watching movies, the gas fireplace to warm up, all the little lamps around the cabin, I love lamps, kind of have an obsession with them, so they made me happy to turn on. The warm and cozy ambience relaxed me. All the little personal touches. Organized and clean, and easy to find things throughout the cabin when needed. I brought my dogs and they had a blast! I will be back. Thanks again for a great mental health weekend. If you choose to stay here you won’t be disappointed!

Wonderful Respite

Perfect place to stay for a quiet weekend and to enjoy the beautiful fall colors. Off main roads, tucked in the woods, on a lovely lake but close enough to a lovely small town. Nice touches of hospitality with the popcorn and bottle of wine. Thanks for the clean and cozy getaway place!
