Girls Weekend Getaway
We had a great time during our stay! Loved the “up north” feel and the place was great for a big group. Everything was expected and a great experience for our mom’s getaway!

RENTERS BEWARE!
If you are looking for a rental property that is on the lake and has a usable dock for you and your family to enjoy unencumbered, contrary to what the owner may say, this is NOT the property for you! In fact, you cant even see the lake from the "home" which is actually a pre-fab barn/warehouse that is half garage, half residence. At the time of this review, the property owner has since updated the listing to reflect the house is NOT on the Lakeshore (as claimed in the original listing), but rather right on busy Route 66, a main artery into Crosslake. Paul has also updated the listing to qualify the availability of the dock, which is up Route 66 at his personal residence and he now notes that it is available "for a fee". When I rented this property back on the week of the 15th, the owner claimed that the house was on the Lakeshore with a dock that was available for our unrestricted use. He even went so far as posting a picture on the listing that showed boats through the kitchen window, don't let this fool you - those boats are not on the water but rather in an adjacent parking lot owned by a boat rental outfit. Paul has a history of misrepresentation of this property in Crosslake as found in meeting minutes from his conditional use permit hearing for this exact property on 6/28/19. When I brought my concerns to Paul about his misrepresentation of the property, he blamed me and said I should have known better because houses that actually had lake shore were renting for much more per night. Now then, if you are looking for an auxiliary property to house your overflow cabin guests and their vehicles, this would be a good place for that, It is very clean and has enough bathrooms and bedrooms to sleep a big group comfortably. Would also be a great place in the winter to house snowmobilers up North to enjoy the trails and lake riding. I wish I could have left a positive review for Paul's property, but I would hate to know that renters who come behind me fell into the same trap as I did.

Great Cabin
Rented this cabin for my bachelorette party & it was perfect! Very updated & clean! Paul, the owner was super great to work with & easy to contact! The property is not located directly on Crosslake, but is right across the street! In walking distance of Moonlite Bay! I would definitely recommend renting this cabin!
