Great home for family gathering. We always do lake properties and definitely loved "no steps" to the dock! Its still a steep walk but so doable for the great grandparents. Plenty of First floor sleeping is also a plus. The 2nd floor falmily ready rooms were perfect for the parents and 3-7 yr ols to be in rooms together. The kitchen dining and back porch had more that ample space for littl ones and grown ups. The livingroom also had more seating space than many of the VRBOs we've been to. Beds were super comfy, and gotta say the upstairs gameroom was a life saver when the always busy energized young ones had more than 5 minutes inbetween eating, boating,fishing and playing porch games and had to be occupied. Overall, one of the best Alabama, lake front with a dock and slip for our pontoon boat, and room for the family. We were able to put grandmas and great grandmas homecooked meals in the commercial fridge. Ice machine worked its butt off too. Way too much to say about this place but if you are looking this type of gathering, book it now!

Lewis Smith Lake family vacation 2025

Kitchen was wonderful. Double wide refrigerator, separate, large freezer and an industrial ice machine. House located on Lewis Smith Lake. Beautiful setting. Water in Lake very clean. Kids enjoyed jumping off the rocks into the lake. Check in was easy. We were a party of 14. Room for you to bring your boat. Had a great time.

Such an amazing stay! Home was very clean, well equipped for our large family. We were thrilled to have a 2 door glass fridge, a stand alone freezer and ice maker. Everyone had a nice clean space and the screened in covered porch was a perfect addition for our group. We loved this house and would definitely stay again. Another plus is the cove the dock sits in. The views were incredible!We rented a pontoon from Squirells and a fishing trip from Smith Lake Fishing Adventures that were also great.We can't wait to visit again!

Great Lake house

Plenty of room for the extended family. The dogs loved the huge, fenced in back yard. Great dock, with plenty of room for our boat and 2 wave runners, plus plenty of room for laying out, swimming ect.. The host was an excellent communicator and addressed ever question we had.

Fun Family Time Away

Absolutely Perfect — 10/10 Stay!We just returned from an unforgettable stay at this incredible 6-bedroom, 5-bath lake house on beautiful Smith Lake in North Alabama, and all I can say is — WOW. From start to finish, everything was flawless.Check-in and checkout were seamless and easy — a dream! The host, Nick, was beyond helpful and made us feel completely taken care of. The house itself was spotless, cozy, and spacious — the perfect combination. It was quiet, peaceful, and beautifully decorated, with enough room for everyone to relax comfortably.The view of the lake was absolutely stunning — every single morning felt like a postcard. The location is perfect if you’re looking to unplug, unwind, and truly enjoy the beauty of Smith Lake. The kitchen was fully stocked, and the massive refrigerator (and awesome icemaker!) were such a bonus — especially for a big group like ours.There was truly not one single thing we would change. Everything was 100% perfect — clean, comfortable, welcoming, and luxurious in all the best ways. We’ve already said we will absolutely stay here again, and we’re telling everyone we know to do the same.Thank you, Nick, for sharing this gem with us. We made lifelong memories and are already dreaming of our next trip!
