Was going to Cortland for a baseball tournament with my 14 year old son who broke his ankle the weekend before. Owner was unwilling to give me a refund of any kind. Pretty crappy in my opinion!!! We never went up. VRBO was of no help at all. First and last time I will use VRBO.

Truly a Hidden Gem

We had a very good stay in this beautifully refurbished apartment. It was clean and very comfortable. There were 2 different coffee makers, Keurig and Nespresso, which was a very nice touch. There were plenty of new towels and blanket throws to use. They seemed to have thought of everything on the inside. We were a bit taken aback upon arrival though, because the outside of the house (as well as some of the other houses around it on the street) was very rundown and in need of the same level of TLC we found inside. The location was very convenient, just 1 block from Main Street, with many restaurants and a pharmacy within walking distance. We were invited to park around the back of the house, but chose to park on the street so we could keep an eye on our car. Since it’s is summer, it was very convenient and there were no issues. The host, Larry, was extremely attentive every time I had to email him regarding use of the Wi-Fi, tv and check out questions. If you are looking for a clean and reasonable place to stay, this is a good choice.

Dirty refrigerator, cracked windows, broken dryer door, parking was blocked so no place to park and a neighborhood my wife was afraid to stay in. No support from VRBO.
