The property is about 10 minutes by a gravel trail, then stairs and a boardwalk to the beach. The location is convenient to restaurants at Cinnamon Shore, Port Aransas, and North Padre Island. The large deck could easily accommodate 6-8 people enjoying a view of the highway and the Laguna Madre in the distance. A sliver of the Gulf is also visible. The pool and hot tub are well maintained. Lots of towels and bedding. When we arrived there was a problem operating the door lock; Evolve Customer Support helped-thank you! Also, the dishwasher was full, some of the dishes in the cabinets were dirty, Kleenex dispensers were empty, and the chairs out on the deck had bird poop. When we prepared to check out we found there was no dishwasher detergent, though we were expected to start the dishwasher. The owners gave us a partial refund on the cleaning fee for our inconvenience, but even so we felt the fees were too high. Expedia won't let me say how high they were.
