We had a couple of hiccups with the trip but in general, we loved the house and would love to stay here again. The best part of the whole place is the space under the house! Its so relaxing and fun!

The property itself was lovely but there were issues. The AC thermostat ran continuously even though we replaced the batteries twice, the ice machine was frozen solid, the picnic table was broken and the gas grill did not work.

Green Gecko

My work colleagues and I decided to have an off site sales meeting and stayed at the Green Gecko. The property has well kept and clean. The pool was great after a morning of catching fish. The experience was smooth from start to finish and will definitely be recommending the Green Gecko to anyone looking to stay in the Port A area.

Weekend Get Away

We really enjoyed staying here and would stay again. Easy access to the property after the short ferry ride. Enough parking for 4 large vehicles. House was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Nicely decorated. The patio is really nice with plenty of seating everyone. Our stay was short and during spring break; for the most part neighbors followed the quiet time rule.

Great long weekend in port A

The green gecko provided our family with a great home base while in Port A. We enjoyed the extra touches like the welcome swag, olive oil, higher quality salt and pepper, 12 beach towels, toiletry boxes, outdoor shower, and awesome outdoor living space with pool. Having a completely enclosed backyard is great for those with pets or young kids. I’d highly recommend the Green Gecko to other guests looking for a Port A getaway.

Awesome experience!

We enjoyed our stay! Home was super clean and pool was sparkling. Everything was in perfect order! Check in process is super easy and we had no complaints or concerns during our visit. Close to beach access and quiet at night. Plan to stay again!

Very nice with extra outdoor space

Perfect space for 3 moms and 3 teenagers! Safe nice neighborhood where the teenagers had they own space outside complete with games TV pool and fridge. They were happy while the moms stayed cool and got to talk in peace and quiet inside. Everyone had their own space and TVs in every room for alone time. Close to the beach and no issues!! Highly recommend!

Beautiful home, but location listing is incorrect

We stayed at this beautiful home for 3 nights and had no complaints of the home itself! It was brand new, very clean and decorated beautifully! There was no lack in attention to detail that was put into this home. However, if you look at the map on the listing it shows the home is in Cinnamon Shores (which we were trying to stay originally). It didn’t take us long to realize the address listed versus the address on the map didn’t line up. Although we thought we were staying closer the the beach we still enjoyed our stay and we would definitely book this home again!
