Wonderful spacious home

We have family that live in Rockport and wanted to spend the weekend with them so we rented this home around the corner from my family. This house had everything you need. Comfortable beds for sure. Everything was very clean. The patio up and down are wonderful to hand out. We definitely enjoyed just sitting out there watching the water. We did not cook but if we wanted to there were pleny of kitchen tools and lots of seasonings in the cabinet. Closet space was huge. Rooms were bright and inviting with great decor. Living room was super comfortable and my husband fell asleep on the couch a few times. Top notch property. I would absolutely stay here again.

Haynie Fishing Tournament 2023

We were just minutes away from Conn Brown Harbor, perfect location for fishing tournament. We enjoyed the upstairs balcony and the downstairs patio. The house is furnished very modern coastal style. Very spacious, and great layout. All the neighbors were super friendly. Will definitely be back.

Great Rockport Location!

Only a few minutes south of Rockport Beach, grocery stores, and downtown attractions. House is spacious and in a quiet neighborhood. Plenty of porch space for morning coffee! Will definitely stay here again.

This property is in a great location. We had a little trouble getting in, but contacted the owner and all was well. I think he needs to either change or manage his housekeeping crew a little better. There were no trash bags or extra toilet tissue and several items needed repair. Overall, it is a great place to stay and we had a really good time.

Fishing Trip to Rockport, Texas

My wife and I had just purchased a new fishing boat and we searched diligently for the right place to stay for a week long fishing trip to Rockport. This also included our son and his family. The owner advised us to notify him 24 hours in advance and he would send a code to access the door. We did notify him 24 hours ahead of time but by the time we got there we still did not have a code. Some of the neighbors attempted to help us but were unable to do so and we could not contact the owner on the phone number he gave us because the voice mail was full. We also attempted to text him but he did not respond. About 2 1/2 hours after arriving the owner sent the code and we were able to get in the house. Everything went fine until approx 10PM when we heard a loud noise directly above the A/C return air vent. The A/C shut down and the following morning called the owner. Around 12noon the repair man showed up and advised a bearing went out in the AC and he could not repair it until Monday if he could get the parts. I contacted the owner and told him that we were going to check out the following morning because it was already to late to return home. The following morning we left and returned home. On 09/27/20 the owner told me he was going to refund my entire amount, however, it is now 20 days later and he has failed to do so and I have now initiated action with VRBO as well as protesting the charge to American Express. The owner talks a good game but does not follow through with what he says. Would never deal with him or stay at any of his properties in the future.

Location, location, location

Fishing Trip

We had a great stay in Rockport. The owner was great and even gave us some great fishing location tips, this was our first trip to Rockport. The house was very clean and plenty of room for us. The area was so quiet and peaceful, sitting on the patio you could here the fish jumping out of the water. There is a boat dock behind the house but there is a boat already docked there so docking your boat is a little tricky. We have a 21 foot so it fit, a few feet larger may be a little more tricky. Houses on both side of the house had boats docked as well. There are a couple of public Boat ramps and bait shop right down the road, which was very convenient . Tip for the next renters bring Off, the mosquitos are killer out there, not inside the house of course. Thanks for the stay we will be back again. Liza

Pandemic Vacation 2020

Nice property, exactly as described. Rex was easy to work with and enjoyed talking with him. Location for fishing was awesome. It really gave us the opportunity to explore the bays and fish some new hotspots.
