Amazing House

Couldn’t ask for much more here. Beautiful and spacious house. Great pool. Basically 1 house away from beach access. Every room has its own bathroom which is super convenient. Would definitely stay again!

Family Vacation Review

I have nothing but great things to say about this house. It is exactly as pictured, clean and has almost everything you could ask for all through out the house. We brought our children down for a few days and they loved the pool. Communicating with the host was easy and seamless. If I had questions, they answered right away. We enjoyed it so much, we booked and extra night without any difficulty. We plan to keep this place in mind for future trips as it was easily a great decision on choosing this house in the first place! 10/10 recommend this rental. The views are amazing too btw!!

Exceptional Property

This property exceeded our expectations in every way. It is beautifully renovated and equipped, especially the kitchen. It is next to a sanctuary area, very private with amazing dune and ocean views, but also very close to the village for grocery shopping. We were a family of 14 celebrating my husband’s 80th birthday and all of the amenities were used and enjoyed: pool, theater, pool and poker tables and of course the 3 minute walk to the beach. There are lots of stairs in the house but the elevator solves that. There are also lots of steep steps up and down to the beach, which could be a problem for people with mobility issues. But over-all the house exceeded our expectations in every way and the owner is very responsive if you have questions.

Great house for families

My family (ages 7 to 76) enjoyed our stay at this house. It is a beautiful property and the views of the dunes and ocean from the 3rd (main) level were stunning. The pool/hot tub area were enjoyed as well as the theater and game rooms. Most evenings we enjoyed the views from the rooftop crows nest. The kitchen is surly well equipped. We had a few concerns that were promptly addressed - 3rd level suite had a leak during a heavy thunderstorm, leaky shower head. Just a few notes that we would have found helpful - the house is close to the beach access but the access itself has steep steps and wasn’t easily navigated by my elderly mother and family members with some mobility issues. Not house related so not a negative of the house but the traffic in Corolla and Duck is terrible at peak times of the day. Be aware and add extra time if you are needing to drive somewhere. Overall and fantastic house and vacation!!

We will be back!

I come to OBX every year with my family and absolutely love the area. Our stay at Above and Beyond will certainly be one that we will never forget! The home exceeded all expectations. Walk to the beach only took 30 seconds and made it so easy to go back and forth from the house. The location and views of this house are just incredible! We spent a lot of time on the rooftop deck. We used the heated pool and hot tub daily and the pool table and movie theater were big hits. Overall, we had an amazing time and would highly recommend Above and Beyond to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway!
