3 generations of fun

Grandparents, adult children and grandchildren together for fun. The pool time was especially great because it was shaded and the weather was too hot for the beach except for early morning and after 7 pm. House was well maintained and close to everything.

Family vacation at the beach

We have stayed at Corolla Light literally for decades. WE love all the amenities. This home did not disappoint. Great space with 3 en suite bathrooms work great for my family. Other bathrooms exist too. Large rooms, no clutter, open kitchen/living room kept everyone together. Kitchen well stocked with top end appliances, pots/pans, and dishes. Many toughtful touches include soap at very sink!Pool and hot tub immaculate. Pool in sun!Great place for my family!

Steep driveway

Driveway was a challenge especially loading and unloading. House was clean. Pool area needed cleaned. Lots of steps to reach main level. No broom - so we had to buy one. One towel per person was not enough. Electrical issue between master bedroom and bedroom with twin beds - has to coordinate lights and fan because lights and fan would otherwise randomly turn on/off. Overall house was good. We all had a great time!

Relaxing

The only issue was the electric plug outside for the golf carts didn’t work. Everything was great and I would highly recommend. Everyone having their own bath was great. Family enjoyed

Excellent Holiday Week

Great house. Very well appointed. Clean with top notch refurbishments. Easy communication with the owner who is very responsive. Close to everything in Corolla Light. Sits up on a knoll so, even though its back from the beach, you can see the ocean. 5 minute walk to the surf. Hope to be back. Thanks for a great stay.

Quiet Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Tipsy Tuna. We were looking for a quiet location and relaxing stay, and we got just that. The home was clean, had all the kitchen essentials and amenities needed to make it our home for a couple of days. The home is located on a very quiet street and only a 5 minute walk to the beach. Restaurants and shopping are conveniently close by. One thing to keep in mind is that the drive-way has a VERY steep incline. It was a little scary at first but we got used to it. Just take your time pulling in and backing out so you don't scrape the bottom of your car. Aside from that, the house is great!

Refined Coastal Vibe, Great for Families with Teens

We were guests at this Corolla Light property Easter week, and this experience did not disappoint. The property manager was helpful and responsive leading up to our visit and while we were there. He even delivered cookies to us! This house feels fresh, well appointed, and was stocked with everything - even good knives! All new appliances, electronics, and furniture. Driveway is steep, just FYI, but there are steps from the street to walk up if it's a problem. The house is situated in quiet cul de sac, but within walking distance (3 minutes) of restaurants, shops, the sound, and the ocean. Our teenage boys really enjoyed having independence; we brought their bikes, and felt comfortable allowing them to ride around and explore. They fished in the nearby pond, went to the arcade, rode to the beach, and got lots of ice cream. Corolla Light organized daily basketball and corn hole tournaments, and they met lots of new friends and had a ball. The adults enjoyed shuffleboard and pickleball. The beach club was nice and their food there was delicious. It was the perfect blend of having privacy from too many people, but being close enough to enjoy all the "stuff". Highly recommend, and would stay here again!

Fantastic house and location

We had a family of 8, the house and location was perfect. The house was exceptionally clean and updated, we had plenty of space and the location was perfect for my children, they enjoyed the pool, a close walk to the basketball and volleyball courts and the beach. The property manager was pleasant to work with and always provided helpful and quick responses. We loved this property and location and will absolutely be visiting again.
