In October 2009, Page Springs Road became the first designated Historical and Scenic Road in Yavapai County. While time has marched on, the essential character of the road—and the tight-knit community that calls it home—remains beautifully unchanged.
The area's history runs deep, stretching back to the 1870s when pioneers were drawn to the banks of Oak Creek by its remarkable natural artesian springs. Named for early settler James Page, this fertile pocket of the Verde Valley originally supplied fresh produce to the historic miners in Jerome. Today, Page Springs is a peaceful, lush oasis where towering green trees canopy the landscape, offering a vibrant contrast to the high desert.
