The room was small but comfortable. There was something weird going on with the shower and the floor got very wet when the shower was used but overall the quality of the place for the price was pretty decent. The people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good, the place was pretty quiet and chill. My wife and I had a nice little weekend there and we were happy with the place overall.

The entrance to this hotel is off a pedestrian shopping area, no road or vehicle noises, very quiet room, city centre location next to shops and restaurants, city bus station within a ten minute walk, hotel staff are warming and professional, the hotel is grand and exceptionally clean, breakfast is a buffet style service, gentleman "Juan" on reception was very helpful, spoke English, as i speak no Spanish this was a great help, excellent value for your money.

The hotel itself is nice and located on walking only streets with shops and restaurants. After check in, the safe in our room didn't work so they moved us to a different room. In the new room the safe didn’t work either but the shower was clean and not mold filled so we stayed. After waking up the next morning, my husband and I had several bites from bed bugs.

Great location and spacious rooms

The hotel is at the heart or the city historic district. It's a well remodeled old building with nice size rooms. There is an art gallery in the lobby area. The employees are really helpful and nice. The only bad thing is that the room can be noisy if on the street side. Great complementary breakfast

Lovely lobby, rooms not so elegant

Stayed for six days. Córdoba is wonderful. Hotel has a fabulous lobby, but many of the rooms are small and dark. Staff were helpful. Neighbourhood is a little sketchy at night.

Renovated classic hotel

Well-renovated classic hotel. We enjoyed th stay. The structure is quite unique and the room is old style as well. It is located at the heart of the city, and wasn't too far to walk to 'nueva cordoba'. Breakfast was good Overall it was satisfying.

A grand character hotel , great central location

I am a first time traveller to Cordoba but on my third visit to Argentina. I wanted a hotel with character and central. The Merit ticked all the boxes for me. It has been a hotel for over 100 years and now restored and modernised. It is located in a walking mall so the Taxi will only take you to the end of the street about 20 metres away. If arriving by air take an airport hire car USD16, better than a cab. Local artists work adorn the public areas added a nice culture.

Basic ammenities hotel, great for 1 to 3 days.

The location of the hotel was great, and on a peatonal street which was great for day time but sadly busy all night. The noise level at night made it very difficult to sleep. The breakfast buffet was open late until 11am, which was convienent for people on vacation. The breakfast buffet was simple, but was plentiful enough to sustain you until lunch time.

I came with the night bus from Mendoza in the morning. I just wanted to leave my backback before getting some breakfast, but they said they could have to room ready in 30 min for me. I still prefered to go out for breakfast and have a look around though. They also offered me to check out later with out any extra charge. Used the laundery service and my cloths got real nice clean again. :D Very friendly staff. Great roof terrace.

stayed here one night on our way to an Estancia.Located in the middle of the shopping area and close to the main plaza.the hotels common areas were pleasant enough and the breakfast was ok but the room was small and absolutely freezing and this coming from someone who loves to sleep in a cold room.Staff was matter of fact ,but helpful if pressed and spoke some english.

Cordova´s most friendly staff

The staff was especially helpful. They are very nice people. Complimentary internet access was much appreciated. The fact that the hotel is not on a car accessible street but rather on a pedestrian street was a bit inconvenient but made for a more quiet experience.

Friendly staff

If anyone is considering a stay over 3 days a single room is not advised, a person would have to live out of their suitcase no room to store your everyday things, also if traveling alone,,, the bed is small [ and I am not a big person ] the shower in my opinion is unsafe because of the confined place, easy for someone to slip and hurt themselves especially seniors. The staff are friendly and accomdating otherwise it was a pleasant place to stay if traveling to Cordoba Argentina.

Too noisy

The staff are fantastic here, but unfortunately they are working for a hotel that is noisy. We would not recommend staying here as at night you can hear every footstep of people walking along the corridors and every word they say. The room we were in had the air conditioning ,full blasting us every 10 minutes all night long.The batteries were dead and the back of the hand control seemed to be glued shut,so we couldnt change it or turn it off. There was only 1 pillow per person,we like two pillows each. The breakfast was very basic, no hot options. Be aware this hotel is also on a no traffic road ,so you will be dropped at the endof the road by the taxi with your bags.

A lovely hotel

I booked to stay here for two nights, but extended my stay because I was so comfortable. I booked a single room but was given a double at no extra cost - both the room and it's en-suite bathroom were clean and well maintained. A TV with cable channels was a real bonus! The hotel has a lovely design, with an open lobby decorated with theatrical masks. There is also a small outside area with a fountain - a nice place to relax. Breakfast is included and is good - a nice variety of pastries, toast, etc. The hotel is a short taxi ride from the bus station and a short walk to the main plaza.
