nice big house-very spacious

This house is great for a large family group. This is our first time using VRBO and was pleased with its organization. Great host communication, the house is extremely well equipped. The beds are very comfortable, towels and amenities as well. There were a couple of issues while staying there. HOPEFULLY they will repair these things before renting again.

Graduation vacation

Our stay was peaceful and beautiful house. We enjoyed the house it was very spacious and accommodate me and my family for our 5 day stay. We had a small issue with the water but the host responded very quickly to our concern.Definitely would stay here again.

Beautiful Home for Retreat

Hosted a healing retreat for a group of breast cancer survivors and friends. The home was a perfect beautiful backdrop for our retreat; Relaxing (we loved the lake). Even enjoyed fishing with rods made available at the house. Plenty of space for our group; nice size rooms, beds very comfortable! Enough room for morning yoga, dining together, sitting by the fire pit, etc.

Relaxing setting for a family vacation

Pleasant stay in a quiet and relaxing setting. The multiple gathering spaces were great for the family, the host was very responsive, the beds were comfortable, and the distance to the airport and metro Atlanta was great. The property is spacious and comfortable overall, but could use a little TLC with upkeep and general maintenance (showing it’s age/wear), and attention to detail for incoming guests. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property.

Relaxing and fun

Our children and spouses and grandchildren had an amazing time at this property. The home was spacious and beautiful and the property was stunning. We enjoyed the fire pit and making s’mores and fishing too. Using live crickets is the secret we learned from a neighbor. Of course we throw the fish back in the lack. The pedal boat was fun also for a few quick rides. The game room with pool table and darts etc was a hit. We drove to Stone mountain for our full day out and had a beautiful time with the grandchildren. About forty minutes from the house. A few suggestions/needs. A bottle opener, a lighter, a few more cooking trays and pots .We cooked every meal but one! I would highly recommend this peaceful amazing property ( oh get rid of wasps and small scorpion in downstairs master please and I did sweep the upstairs deck and clean the furniture myself so we could use that space) we did not use the jacuzzi but it had been cleaned Thank u !

Family Trip

We enjoyed this beautiful home! Lots of space for our big group. My kids enjoyed the pool table, although the dart set was broken and some of the foosball table pieces were broken. We are a big fishing family so we spent lots of time on the dock. We did not have much luck with fishing, but still enjoyed the beauty of the lake. We did not have any issues other than the grass needing cut, but we understand there are specific days for that. My family prefers the air in our home to be freezing, which we were unable to do here. There are signs stating the air cannot be set below 72. It really wasn't that bad due to ceiling fans and fans they had available. All in all, we had a great time. We would definitely like to come for another stay!

A Wonderful Place

This was truly such a beautiful home in a nice quiet area! The house was spotless when we arrived and check in was extremely easy and simple. There is so much to do at the house we ended up cancelling a lot of our plans and spending the vast majority of our time there enjoying everything! I highly recommend staying here if you are interested.

Plenty of Room

We had 10 people (4 familys) ages 16- 64 under one roof for a week of fun ! During the day the girls hung out in the sun, floated in the lake, sat in the hot tub while the guys fished, paddle boarded and played on the peddle boat. At night we hung by the fire pit and played in the game room. There was plenty of stuff to entertain everyone. It was a great trip and everyone enjoyed themselves.

Excellent Property

This property is very nice, it is located in a great area and is very peaceful. The setup of the home is excellent, and everyone didn't have to be on top of each other. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. The home is very clean and the welcome basket when we checked in was very nice. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks

Sooo Roomy + Great Views + Quiet Neighborhood!

Our group of 10 (5 couples) loved our long Labor Day Weekend! Since 2 of our couples were having 40th anniversary celebrations, the two masters were perfect! The house is soooo roomy! All the bedrooms were great! Beds were great! Big closets in all the bedrooms. The master bedrooms were HUGE! Outdoor fire pit was nice to sit around. Outside wrap around deck needs a little update but was nice to sit at in the morning. Lake access was great! And the path and other decks and stairs made access to the dock very easy... not for handicap accessible. Plenty of parking! The game room was huge and nice but we never even used. There are 2 tv rooms- upstairs and downstairs! And all bedrooms have TV's. 2 nice big tables to eat at or play games! Lake is small but big enough to go out in a paddle boat or canoes. Never even asked if motorized boats were allowed bc we didn't bring one. Overall the house was great and we had a great time! We would go back!!

Amazing place to relax for the whole family

Just an amazing place to take a step away and relax by the lake. The views were amazing and was able to kayak and fish just about everyday. The proximity to Atlanta was great and was able to use our City Pass for 2 days to truly enjoy every part of what Atlanta area had to offer. It was an older home completely redone to really offer all the modern amenities.

Talladega NASCAR Weekend

We were there for the Talladega NASCAR race weekend. This property has everything for a relaxing & enjoyable trip. Nestled in a beautiful forest type community on a private lake. Keep an eye out for deer in the area. Rental was very clean, beds were comfortable, hot tub was a definite plus to relax after a long day. Location was great as we went to the GA Aquarium (highly recommended) & Truist park for a Braves baseball game in addition to Talladega, Suggestions> Provide some food storage ziplock bags in kitchen & provide either wireless blower or push broom to clear wonderfully large outside decking of tree leaf droppings

Relaxing and quiet

We had a great time there and there is so much space for people to relax and do their own thing. We are certainly looking forward to renting again in the future. The only problem I ever had was that the upstairs master bedroom got really hot one night. I come from Seattle and once he gets over 72 we melt!

Peaceful Serenity

Such a great location to disconnect from everything. House is so spacious and accommodating for a stay. The neighborhood is so restful and great to walk in with all the trees and quite drives. Hosts are so responsive and kind. We had a very blessed stay in this beautiful house.

Overall Great, but not Luxury

Our stay there was enjoyable, and we loved how large the space was. However, there was a few things that were not an A+ experience. The door lock worked only part of the time, the showers are all installed incorrectly so they are somewhat awkward to stand in. The tile is incredibly slick in the bathrooms (my son, 5, fell multiple times). There were no darts for the dart board, the foosball table is broken and the hot tub is very small. All of that aside, the property is in a great location in a very private neighborhood. The view is gorgeous and very relaxing. There was gathering space on both the main floor and the basement that worked out very very well for our large group. The beds are very very comfortable and it was nice that most people had their own bathrooms. The trash situation was a little bit odd because it was overflowing from the guests that were there before us. Overall, we had a wonderful time. But between the cosmetic issues (holes in the walls, showers incorrectly installed) and the fact that we couldn't use most of the game room activities I cannot give 5 stars.
