We loved the location. We could get to where we wanted to go in less than 20 mins. What we didn't like was the bed and pillows were not comfortable, the shower ran out of hot water and the water pressure was low, and the breakfast was very lackluster. Thankfully we knew of a great breakfast place lol

Stay Date: April 2025 Location: La Quinta Inn, Magnolia, TX We are in the hospitality industry ourselves, and this was hands down the worst stay we’ve ever experienced at any La Quinta. The property is in shocking disrepair. The elevators were completely out of service due to ongoing PIP renovations—forcing all guests, including those on the 3rd and 4th floors, to use the stairs. Our room reeked of mold, the carpet was torn and damp near the AC unit, and the bathtub was rusted and filthy. It was beyond unacceptable. When we voiced our concerns, not only was there no sense of urgency or apology, but we were also told no compensation or discount would be offered—because of the Chevron golf tournament in town that weekend. This is a clear case of prioritizing profit over guest experience. Absolutely do not recommend. Until this property undergoes a complete renovation and management overhaul, avoid it at all costs.

The worst hotel I’ve ever seen in my life. Bad smell, broken elevator—I had to carry my luggage up three floors. They kick you out at 11:00 a.m. The worst place in the United States. Absolutely terrible.

Sadly, the elevator wasn’t working. I had a family suite reserved, we ended up with a king and a couch on the second floor. After dragging our suitcases up two flights of stairs we all showered and got ready for bed. We had one grandchild with us. There was a used condom inside the sofa bed and that was just too much. We got a small discount on the room and the three of us slept in the bed. Miserable night. The staff was so nice to us, but it was really a bad stay.

Overall, just a less than stellar experience

Got to hotel Friday at about 2/ Room was ready but on 2nd floor and elevators were out. AS I cannot do stairs, I was Ok waiting until first floor was available...my mistake. Room was right next to elevator as well as gym, pool and hallway to breakfast area so it was very noisy. While waiting for my room, I asked about going to the gym but got in there only to find the treadmill broken and the recumbent bike was the jankiest piece of equipment - handles missing, wobbly seat... The room was OK - small...you could not leave bathroom door open and walk by it...no room. My toilet was running every time I flushed but I finally got that fixed by re-positioning a piece in the tank PROS: Location Nice hot shower with good water pressure Hope this is not standard for them as this location is too convenient for when I visit Overall, just a less than stellar experience
