Clemens' Cottage - Lakefront Bungalow on Lake Conroe w/ Private Dock & Boat Slip

Welcome to Clemens' Cottage in the sought-after Walden neighborhood! Located on open water (no canal) but behind a "no wake zone" in a quiet cove on Lake Conroe. Guests are able to swim and use non-motorized water crafts/toys right off of the private boat dock. If you would like to bring a motorized boat, we also have a private boat slip, with room for a second boat, if needed. This home is family-friendly and has a fully fenced yard in between the home and dock with a gate leading to the dock/water. There is also a neighborhood pool at the yacht club with a poolside grill called Breakwater. You will have access to this pool with our pool pass.

We are stocked with bath towels, kitchenware, games, etc. We have a foosball table upstairs. There is a propane grill on the porch. We also have kayaks that are available for use.

The main level includes the master bedroom, which sleeps 4, with a king and a trundle day bed. There is also an additional half bath downstairs. The upstairs includes 2 secondary bedrooms and a full bath, along with extra space in the game room. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other is a bunk bed with a twin over a full. The loft offers another living area and another daybed /trundle.

Multi-level decks include 1 fully screened-in deck/dining area, 1 covered deck that opens to the backyard, and 1 upper-level deck that is half covered and half uncovered - perfect for sunning.

Be sure to watch for deer! They love to hang out in the culdesac around 5 pm and early mornings. Or jump on the walking trails right across from our driveway. We are about a 10-minute drive from Margaritaville, golfing, and close to so much that Lake Conroe has to offer!

Per VRBO guidelines, exterior security cameras are as followed:
Camera over garage to monitor culdisac, backyard camera on roof to monitor lake level, and a ring doorbell to monitor deliveries.
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen, 2.5 bathrooms, and a balcony, and there's space to spread out with 3 bedrooms. Guests can enjoy a Smart TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a fenced private yard, and a coffee maker.

Had a great weekend at the cottage with family. The house was accurately described and as pictured. We enjoyed spending time outside on the boat dock and the fenced yard for the dogs. Only issue we had was the grass was pretty tall when we arrived. We were staying 4 nights so knew it would be very tall by the end of our stay. We had a small dog with us so the grass was very tall for him. One morning our dogs came inside absolutely covered in chickweed burrs. Spent several hours removing them from their coats. We did message the owners regarding the tall grass and they apologized and sent someone out to mow within a few hours. After that, we did not have any additional issues with the yard. We would stay again as the owners were very communicative and even recommended some of their favorite restaurants in the area.

Everything was great! Wonderful, spacious layout, comfortable beds and lovely view of the lake. There were bass and catfish near the dock. Kitchen was well stocked (great coffee machine that works for both K cups and grounds), plenty of towels and blankets.

This was our second time staying in this home. Check-in was great kitchen has everything you could need. It’s in a great little cove, where my grandkids could swim right off the dock with lights out there when the sun started going down. Plenty of places to dock and eat. Owner has been very friendly. Communication has been very timely.

We brought our jet ski, rode it every day. There is space to moor your boat under cover and several cleats to tie off your jetski. Big back deck w fully fenced in yard. We had our dogs w us. There is a huge sitting area upstairs w foosball table and old school board games….thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back next year!!

Nice House on the Lake

Stayed here for a few days in November. The house was nice and the neighborhood was great. The outside backyard could use a little TLC. We rented the house on one days notice but still there could have been a little extra clean up (sweeping and cobwebs). The pros outweighed any cons and I still give the house a great rating.

Relaxing and spacious

We had a great stay! lovely location & view! split floor plan was perfect for allowing space for kids to go while adults are downstairs. Beds were comfortable and lots of hot water. the views were great and the location on the cove was quiet and relaxing to watch. Loved having the covered patio looking out to the yard and dock. Kids had fun fishing and swimming off the dock. We wished there was shade at the dock. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!
