The place was adequate but not exceptional. Missing several kitchen essentials, living room only seats 3, outdoor furniture ripped or broken and not usable. The owner should reinvest back into the property to make this a more suitable place for full families.

The host was very welcoming and responsive. I wanted to give a 5 star review but the place is a lot older than the pictures portray, the lighting in all the bedrooms and living room were very dim, and out of all 3 bedrooms, only one room had a ceiling fan. It was inconvenient for the rest of us as the temperature in the house fluctuated throughout the night. When we entered the house there was a musty smell and the floors were dirty. We got in after a long day of travel and didn’t think to take pictures of the floors and instead just swept and vacuumed the entire house ourselves. I was also told my the kids after we checked out, there were dust and they found a sock behind the trundle bed when they pulled it out to sleep the first night. I think cleanliness needs to be made a higher priority. I wish there were board and card games to keep us occupied instead of just the television. Overall, the place served its purpose; a place to sleep while we were in town for the army graduation.

Upon arrival we noticed a strong musty smell in the home along with a dirty floor/rug in the entryway. Vents/baseboards were covered with dust. Dishes in the cabinet were also dirty. The house could use a deep clean! Soon after check in we realized that we did not have hot water and that the water heater’s door was removed and the pilot light was off. We were told someone would be by the following morning to check the water heater, and they would keep us updated as to the progress. The following afternoon we were told the issue was resolved and we had hot water. This was not the case, the water was still cold. We contacted property management again and were told we needed to give it time. We waited a few more hours but still no hot water, this was day two without hot water. Another evening and the following morning with a cold shower. On the 3rd and final night of our stay, a maintenance worker was sent to our property. They tested the water and confirmed it was STILL cold, then increased the water temperature. We waited 30 minutes and finally we had hot water, that was 7 pm the night prior to our departure! We were also told that before we checked in there was a gas leak and the water heater was not working. It is unacceptable that we were allowed to check in without hot water and went without hot water from Thursday night to Saturday night, pretty much our entire stay. We were offered a small refund for our “inconvenience”.

Being as an older home a little more upkeep and maintenance would be helpful, a little moldy smell in the middle bedroom and floors was not well swept also the home entrance. Apart from that nice quiet neighborhood and friendly neighbors and our stay was peaceful.
