The Wandlerlust Lookout was perfect for our Colorado trip! Close to many activities, tourist spots and great restaurants. The view from the house is beautiful!! The layout with the upper and lower spaces made for a great stay. The house was stocked with everything we needed during our weeklong stay. Host responses to messages were timely and helpful.

Great Family Mountain Getaway

This house was perfect for our family of six! Plenty of space for my four sons to chill and relax in the lower level while my husband and I enjoyed the peace, quiet, and views on the outside deck.It was a great location to go visit all the must-sees, like Pike’s Peak, Manitou Springs, and Garden of the Gods! Also quick access to Woodland Park for groceries (like a bottle of wine while enjoying the scenery on the deck). I absolutely recommend this!

Great location to all the fun

Location was great. It’s close to all the hot spots. We were right in the middle of every tourist activity we wanted. I enjoyed the huge deck and that there was a grill provided. The roads were a little tricky but the owner explained that in description. The owner was quick to reply to my questions.

Unique mid-century house nestled in the hills

What a find! This house was so great. Mid-century style with an expansive view through floor to ceiling windows overlooking the hills. We had a spring snow storm while we were here which made it all the more cozy. The host was extremely responsive and proactive with communication and check in and check out was seamless. We have rented many houses around the world and this one stood out for being so unique. Would definitely return!

Pleasant stat

My only complaint would be water pressure being poor, but I understand it is mostly due to altitude of the location. House was large enough for 2 or maybe even 3 families, though it was just 4 of us. Fire place was great, balcony was amazing with a good view. The drive to the house was initially scary coming from plain, flat Kansas roads but after a few trips we got used to it. Location is 10 to 20 minutes from most types of restaurants and stores as well as pikes peak and other various destinations.

We left an expensive suit behind and contacted the manager within an hour of leaving the property. We were going to be back in the area a few days later and could have picked up the suit. But after countless communications, the manager told us they could not find the suit.

Cool, Mountainside Escape

Property is as described in the listing, a wonderful mountainside mid-modern property designed by acclaimed architect, Walter White…not thee Walter White!! Location is awesome, about 15 minutes from central Colorado Springs, 10 minutes from Manitou and Old Colorado City both to the south and Woodland Park to the north. This property allows you to be a as active as you like as it’s close to hiking and fishing and then you can be in good restaurants and other retail in 10 minutes. We primarily used the first floor master and really enjoyed the view and the serenity of quiet mornings and starry nights. Everything in the space is fairly new and I’m working order the full width sliding doors were amazing in late summer. Road to the property is a bit intimidating on the first drive up to down but we got used to it quickly…it is a bit steep and at points one lane. We did the drive in a Tesla Y so no need for an SUV but may be a challenge in a vehicle lower to the ground. We would stay in the property again and again and would highly recommend it especially during the no -snow months. HOSTE check in process is a bit much for security reasons but worked fine ultimately.

Great location close to all the sights in the area

Our first time to Colorado. Check-in was seamless. House was very clean. Wonderful views. We were 15 minutes from entrance to Pikes Peak. Less than 30 minutes from Garden of the Gods, Seven Falls, and Colorado Springs. 10 minutes from grocery store. I would stay here again without hesitation.

Awesome stay

We had a wonderful stay at your place. The coffee pot should be replaced for next guest so they don’t have to struggle with it. I sent a email with pictures of the master sink with towel under it because it was leaking water . Also sent pictures of squirrels that are using stuffing from back porch cushions to makes their nests with. Other than those items it is a very nice place to visit.

We have been here 2 times in 6 months. Will always come here. Perfect location. Close to things to do. Manitou Springs is cool little town. 20 minutes away. We love this place.

Heavenly Mountain View

The house is perfect for the most beautiful Mountain View. We really enjoyed getting up every morning, having coffee & breakfast while looking at the most beautiful scenery. We were 4 adults (grandparents & parents) with one 6 month old, so having the downstairs area/den with the baby was so convenient. Overall the house is very cozy and the location was great for our agenda. I would definitely recommend for families!

Colorado Time

Was very comfortable. A few ishes that the maintenance said he would come back and fix but never showed. The light didnt work in the kitchen so we had to bring a lamp from downstairs to see at night and the plug for the TV didnt work. Other then that everything was very good. The views are wonderful and all the beds very comfortable. We would definitely stay again.
