The guest's private entrance to the walk-out basement Guest Suite is from the fence gate, which is on the left side of the house when you face the house. Once in the backyard, you will see the inviting entrance to your Guest Suite. We do not use the backyard when guests are staying in the suite to ensure guests' privacy and enjoyment of the space.

This is more than a walkout basement apartment. There are windows in most if not all rooms. Very private, and the owner has thought about a lot of details to ensure you have everything you need. In addition to laundry and dishwasher pods - the bathroom has cotton balls, q-tips, etc - it was really a nice touch to make you feel at home. Nice decorated as well, and ample cookware.

Vicky was a very responsive host, checking in with us to see if our stay was going well. The VRBO is extremely clean, the beds were comfortable, lots of amenities in the bathroom and kitchen and the location was close to all the places we wanted to visit: Garden of Gods, Manitou Springs, etc. The location is also close to major restaurants/cafes (could walk) and grocery stores (short drive). Plus, there was foosball!! We didn't use the hot tub but foosball was a huge kit with my boys, a long with the mini-green outside. We're a "no shoes in the house" family and I really appreciated how impeccably clean this basement was. 5 stars all around!!

We had a great stay! The rental was as listed and we had so much room to spread out and not feel cramped. The locates in a very nice neighborhood with lots of food options within walking distance. It was easy to get to the west side of COS from here also.
