CA DE SASS is an elegant and lovingly villa designed by the Italian owner and his team of professionals. The villa is modern and elegant, furnished with high-quality accessories. A small paradise overlooking Lake Como.
CA DE SASS is a modern villa, finely cared for and designed in every corner. The villa is divided on 3 floors, consisting of: 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with shower, large open space living with kitchen and dining table. Outside there is a large private garden with solarium and Jacuzzi for exclusive use.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
CA DE SASS is organised on 3 levels. There is an internal lift to access all levels of the house. On the ground floor: private garage with two parking spaces from which there is direct access to the interior of the house. On the first floor: bathroom with shower and washing machine, a double bedroom with TV, which overlooks a beautiful lake view patio. On the second floor: the large modern kitchen equipped with all necessary amenities, induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle and toaster. Continuing on this floor, we find another bathroom with shower and double sink, a spacious cloakroom with wardrobes that serve as the entrance to the double bedroom. Finally down the stairs there is another bedroom with single beds, from which there is access to the outside space with lake view garden.
The rooms are all very bright thanks to the large windows, providing a breathtaking view at any time of day. A villa of great charm, surrounded by a terraced garden, with a view of the lake. This is a 400 square metre garden, spread over four levels, with an elegant, rustic atmosphere, colourful plants, shrubs and a touch of art. Guests have free access up to the third level of the garden. The house occupies the crag closest to the lake, the view of which can be enjoyed while sitting under the pergola made of chestnut poles and shaded by four different varieties of roses with cream-coloured flowers. The second flounce is a roof garden created on the roof of the dwelling, which is carved largely into the rock of the mountain. This space, devoid of trees and close to the house, has become a SOLARIUM, with sun loungers and parasols arranged along the walkway made of local stone slabs. In the third balcony, under a beautiful olive tree, we find the Jacuzzi and a shower with hot water.
The villa can accommodate up to 6 people, has Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and a private double garage.
ACCESSIBILITY & PARKING
CA DE SASS has a private garage for 2 cars. The entrance can then be easily reached internally by private lift. The villa has 3 floors, all of which can be reached by lift.
COLONNO & SURROUNDINGS
Colonno is a charming little village located on the western shore of Lake Como, known for its natural beauty and authentic atmosphere. This picturesque town is ideal for those seeking peace and stunning views. The lake’s crystal-clear waters and the surrounding mountains offer a magical backdrop.
Colonno is also a great starting point for scenic hikes through the surrounding hills. The trails leading from the village offer panoramic views of the lake and mountains, including the famous Greenway del Lago, which leads all the way to Griante. Thanks to its location, Colonno is a peaceful haven far from the tourist crowds — perfect for guests who want to immerse themselves in nature and tranquility.
Please note that Colonno has no bars or restaurants, and the nearest supermarket is Sigma, located in the town of Lenno, 3.5 km from the villa.
GETTING AROUND
Please note that the taxi service on Lake Como is not always reliable or readily available. We therefore advise against relying on it once you have reached your destination. We suggest evaluating alternative options such as public transport (buses and boats), hiring a car or using pre-booked private drivers.
A bus stop is 800 metres from the villa, and a boat stop is 1 km away. Please note that there are only 2 boats per day passing through Colonno: one in the morning and one in the afternoon. In the nearby village of Argegno, on the other hand, there is a boat every hour.
The use of a car is recommended, as the villa has private parking spaces and is quite far from public transport stops.

Beautiful house, incredible views
This is a beautiful house with an incredible view on the east side of Lake Como. Andrea and the Target Rent team made check-in seamless and were very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The roads on the east side of the lake can be very narrow at times, so be prepared for that during your drive to the house, as well as other destinations during your trip.

A Slice of heaven
Wow, just wow!!! This property is amazing! It was a wonderful stay in Colonno/Lake Como. The layout was a but strange, but we made it work. The elevator was a bonus for my elderly parents, and the private 'master' bedroom was on a separate floor from the others! Great AC throughout the house! the grounds were spectacular, lots to explore!! This had to be my favorite place I've ever stayed!

Incredible property in great area along Lake Como
This is a WOW property upon arrival in a great area. Andrea, the property manager was incredibly responsive before our arrive and during. You arrive to open a large garage (had mid size SUV that easily fit) and inside is the private elevator to take you to 3 floor. Floor 0 - very clean garage. Floor 1 - Beautiful bedroom and bathroom with washer (no drier but great drying rack) and a door leading to a covered sitting area overlooking the lake. Floor 2 is the living room, kitchen, full bath and 2 bedrooms. One slight downside is the bedroom with two twin beds requires walking through the bedroom with one bed heading to bathroom and living area. (Floor 1 bedroom is private and what I would call the main or master bedroom). High end appliance Miele kitchen with a lot of modern touches. Living room is spacious and comfortable with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating all with great views of the lake. Floor 3 is neat. Exit the elevator to an expansive outdoor area. We did not use the hot tub but it was easy to operate if you'd like to. There is a great hiking trail close to the property we inquired about after seeing a lot of cars parked along the roadway of the house on the weekend. The property manager explained about it when we asked and we did the hike - perhaps list the details in their guest outline book. The owner does require issue "house rules" that are a little on the heavy side, but given what they put in the property, it is understandable to protect it.

Beautiful house with spectacular views
Probably the best-designed house we have ever stayed in. It is tastefully furnished and decorated throughout, the beds were comfortable, and the air-conditioning worked well in the heat of summer. Very well-equipped kitchen. The views are spectacular. Andrea was very helpful and prompt to respond throughout the week if we needed anything.
Colonno is a quiet village, day and night. You will definitely need a car, and you can find restaurants and services in neighboring villages of Argegno and Lenno as you explore the lake.

Gorgeous!
A beautiful villa with amazing views. We were so sad to leave. We will definitely be back again. The villa is like no other in the area, each floor has thoughtfully placed terraces surrounded by flourishing gardens framing the expansive vistas. The finishes and layout of the interiors are just as impeccable and thoughtfully designed. Whether spending time indoors or relaxing outdoors, you see and feel the energy of the picturesque mountains and lake!

Wonderful house with amazing views
This must be one of the most unique homes on the lake. The entire house is custom designed with incredible details. Three floors with stunning views of the lake and great outdoor areas for sun bathing or eating dinners/breakfast. This is a great place for anyone with a rental car as there isn’t much to do within walking distance.

A house with views
We - a family of five - enjoyed our stay very much. We hit a heat wave in the region, so we had plenty of time to explore the house and all of it’s levels and comforting cozy and romantic places. The central kitchen and the newly built terrace are just perfect for getting the family all around the table. But still it’s also a comfortable starting point for trips all around the region.
