Hotel was lovely from first walking in. The lady who checked us in was great when helping us with directions and travel options to get around. She also noticed it was my birthday the following day - as a surprise for when we got back in the room on my birthday, she had organised a cake and a bottle of bubbly for us to enjoy. The room was spacious and the view of the cathedral was beautiful, worth the upgrade in our opinion. The location of the hotel was perfect, with everything being within a 5/10 minute walk and public transport accessible if needed. The breakfast seemed a little expensive to us at 31€ per person to add on, so we opted out of this as there was a few cafes near by to eat at for a much lower price, so we can’t comment on the food. Overall, we loved our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!

Location was phenomenal for Christmas markets. Trying to get a water bottle in the room was no easy task. They did have laundry service which we needed. The building had a ventilation issue in certain areas at certain times which made a gnarly sewage smell for example by the entry elevator. That should be looked into. Tiny rooms but decent finishes.

The room was clean and the staff were polite, but the location was absolutely the best thing about the hotel. You are in the heart of everything. The only drawback for the hotel is that the hot water system is incredibly noisy and the room clean doesn’t include a refill of any tea, coffee or water, but you can always ask at Reception.
