Hidden Gem

We found this hotel by chance after canceling our stay in Avignon and it was a pleasant surprise. Very kind staff, beautiful countryside views, spacious rooms, and reliable AC. I would strongly recommend this hotel to live the lovely French countryman experience.

Off the beaten path but worth the trip

We were on bikes and it was a longer trek from the Pont du Gard than I had realized when I made my reservation, but the rooms were spacious, the staff was friendly, the prices were affordable, and the dining area was on a lovely patio. We are glad that we pedaled the extra kilometers.

Hotel Le Gardon

Visiting Collias and stayed at Hotel Restaurant Le Gardon during la canicule (heat wave). Cooling off in the hotel swimming pool was wonderful & drinking a spritz on the Terrance as well. Breakfasts were nice. Didn’t try their dinners, but other hotel guests seemed to have enjoyed them. It’s a friendly place with a friendly staff. It’s worth the drive outside of town - the prices were great.

Pool and quiet A/C were welcomed during the heat wave. Bed was comfy. We did not use the restaurant because of timing with our activities but also because of price. Sounded like it was better to book directly with meal plan if using the restaurant. Great central location to visit Uzès/ Nîmes/ Avignon/ Orange/ Pont du Gard/ Baux-de-Provence. No pet smell in room.

Set in a busy village during the summer months this well managed hotel is a haven for tranquility.The welcome from Valerie was an encouragement to have a splendid holiday.With a great breakfast and super evening fare we had a great week long break.The swimming pool was a good indication about the cleanliness of the hotel.We came away refreshed and with happy memories.A special mention to Jean .

Stopover in Provence

The hotel is a bit remote. It is perfect if you intend to relax. It is just 15 min drive from the highway, which made it ideal for a stopover. For sightseeing you will need a car (or bicycle). Breakfast was one of the best we had during our trip in France!

A bit off the tourist track but worth the effort. Staff very helpful. Meals are pricey and so be sure to head into local area towns early if you want lower expenses.

Wifi terrible, isolated getaway

Firstly the wifi is terrible here. It is a very isolated down some back roads and they only open the kitchen if there are booking for more than ten so tea is not an option and its slim pickings in the village. The owners are nice and the pool area is quite good.
