For our guests with pups, the home has a fully fenced-in yard. It has been recently remodeled and professionally designed with new furnishings, and everything you and your guests could want during your stay. Whether you want to golf, swim, kayak, bike, hike Tubb's Hill, stroll downtown CdA, or just relax and take in all that beautiful CdA has to offer, this vacation rental perfectly meets those needs for a party of up to 5 guests.

As you enter The Fort Grounds Cottage, you will feel the comfy coziness of the living room and sitting area in front of the gas stove furnace. It houses a flat screen SMART HDTV and Wi-Fi throughout. The dining room to the right features a bar height dining table, seating for up to 6.The upstairs bedrooms feature a full bed, twin bed, and a daybed/trundle which can convert to a queen. There is a washer/dryer unit off the kitchen, a patio/BBQ area for outdoor dining in this privately fenced off guesthouse, and ample parking in front or behind the house.

This house was so fun! Walking distance to everything we love about Coeur d'Alene in the summer! Park, beach, restaurants, etc. Skate park for the kids to play and a small park to play! The house is small but so cozy! The queen bed upstairs is so comfortable. The beds in the 2nd room is great for kids but i wouldnt recommend for adults because they are small. The ac works great in all rooms and it kept a great temperature during our stay. The kitchen is small, so not a stock up kind of refrigerator but restaurants are everywhere! Washer and dryer work great and if you want a cda experience i highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay in this home. The location cannot be beat - we were able to walk everywhere: across the quiet street to an amazing children's playground, as well as the beach/boardwalk and into downtown where there were a ton of delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner options. The home itself was clean, and the hosts included extras such as laundry detergent, shampoo, bottled water, and so on. They also included a wagon, beach towels, beach and sand toys....they've thought of everything! Our only complaints were that the bedrooms need curtains (the neighbors have a very bright orange security light that stays on all night and shines directly into both rooms), and the fruit on the large tree in the yard is rotten, and the smell was quite terrible exiting and entering the home. If we are planning a trip to Silverwood or to the Idaho area for any other reason, we would definitely stay here again!!

It’s a separate house behind the main house, so very close to another rental, so it’s safe and quiet. Host was prompt and easy to communicate with, and my friends and I had a lovely trip!

This place is perfect! You can’t beat its location! The rental itself is adorable. Nicely furnished and appointed with extra touches such as an ice maker and plenty of water toys and chairs, coolers, etc. We would rent this place again in a heartbeat and plan to do so next time we’re in CDA.
