Our self contained, ground floor studio apartment in the heart of Cockermouth. We are on the border of the beautiful Lake District and within easy reach of any of the wonderful walks and lakes that the area has to offer.
The studio itself has everything that you will need for an enjoyable stay. It has a double bed with king size duvet, a fully equipped kitchen, shower room and a sitting area with large tv and a cooling system for warmer weather.
Dogs are welcome, £12 for the stay.
Our studio is a modern, cosy space with everything in that you might need. If you require the sofa bed, you must book for 3 guests to get the bedding (there's a charge) - we are happy for you to use the sofa bed with your own bedding if you prefer (no charge)
We are available to contact 24 hours a day for emergencies and between 8am and 10pm for general enquiries
Cockermouth is a beautiful town with award winning cafes and restaurants. The town is very welcoming with lots of boutique shops and a relaxing atmosphere.
Check in after 4pm and check out is 10am. If you require an early check in or late check out we will endeavour to do our best with this although it is capped at 2hrs. There is a charge of £10 for either or £15 for both as we will need to bring in another cleaner to assist with the change over. Please try and give us advanced notice too.
Parking options include free street parking (5 minutes walk) Long and Short stay car park, £5 per 24 hours (20 metres from apartment) Please note car park prices are subject to change but are correct at time of writing. Not as picture describes and cold
The place was easy to find and parking to be paid seperatly close by. Images showed a large sofs bed which wasn't there only a small low level single futon and an old small sofa. It was cold and very noises from neighbours and the road as not double glazed and door not snug.
Shower had a blockage but was sorted within a timely manner, the studio was nice and cosy and met my needs, the room seemed cleaned to a good standard but could do with a duster on the ceiling as cobwebs are farming in one corner and I do think they need to deep clean the cutlery and utensils and cooking accessories as they was getting a build up of grime on hard to clean areas but from constant use which once a month or every two weeks depending on how busy occupancy is and that’s why I gave a good star otherwise I would given excellent but easily rectified. I’ve worked in the hotel industry for 15yrs and I would honestly state I would absolutely re stay at this local accommodation and would recommend to others even my British Airways customers in the future
