Spring Break

Thank you for making our Spring Break so memorable! I can not say enough about the beautiful cabins. They are impeccably decorated, clean and fully stocked with everything you need. The grounds and views are stunning; wonderful for hiking and exploring or just resting and taking in the amazing scenery. The staff was wonderful, beyond helpful and accommodating. They provided us with 4 passenger side by side vehicles which made getting around from cabin to cabin very easy. They even helped coordinate a helicopter ride that picked us up right on the grounds! If you are considering this place, go for it, you will not be disappointed.

This place has it all!

We could not have been more happy with our weekend celebration in Asheville. My husband was celebrating his 40th so 30 of our closest friends made the trek to spend the weekend together. From the very beginning of my planning Ilana was incredible! She is very thorough, knowledgeable and fun to work with. She was a huge asset in planning not only the best way to use all of the properties amenities but also for meal deliveries and anything else I needed along the way. All of the onsite staff was very responsive during our visit. The property is stunning! We would definitely consider revisiting in the future.

Simply Unbelievable

Our team at Chimspector can't say enough great things about our stay at the Pigeon River Retreat! We had the opportunity to stay in the Group B homes, rent the tavern, and enjoy all of the amentities the property had to offer! The initial communications with Ilana were thorough and insightful in planning for our trip. Everything was explained well and we were prepared for our trip properly because of these conversations and thoroughness of the owners. Upon arrival we were blown away by the property itself. The pictures and description just can't prepare you for the beauty and spirit of adventure you get upon arrival. All of the homes were well decorated and appointed. The beds were INCREDIBLY comfortable and getting around was simple. Connor was our point man on site and answered all questions very quickly and was there when we needed him in a matter of minutes. The river area is serene and the swimming was wonderful as well as the tubing. We took advantage of the 3.5 mile hike on the property numerous times, each time was special in it's own way. We visited the cave, the tennis courts, we caught fish, and enjoyed every part of the adventure on the property. We saw 20+ species of animals around. We dubbed one of the peacocks 'Gus' who was always hanging around one of the homes. We rented the tavern for the week and enjoyed that being our "home base" for our 20+ guests and where we enjoyed our meals, dance parties, and fellowship. Can't wait to return!
