Hot tub did appear to be clean and chemicals correct but we did not use.Loved the view and the cabin and it worked great for us. We are a church motorcycle group from Savannah and the intense ride up the mountain will prohihibit us from returning; however, we will are interested again with family when we do not bring bikes. Quite sketchy on motorcycles.

It was a great cabin, plenty of room. The TV's in the bedrooms were out dated and not all had DVD players. The AC upstairs did not work properly. For the price i paid, i thought the organization of the kitchen was terrible. It was misc. Pots and pans. The counters were dirty when we arrived.

A trip away with friends

We loved the lodge. We used it as a home base for activities during a bachelor party. Great golf nearby, paintball nearby, we even had a private chef come in for an evening. The lodge was perfect for a large group, it was a blast. Brett is a thoughtful host who took care of any issues we had quickly.

Peaceful Place with lots of Porches

This was our annual Women's retreat. Property was perfect and the kitchen was well stocked! We even got a surprise dusting of snow! Great time! Great place!

Perfect for Groups

We stayed with a group of teenagers and it was the perfect place. Plenty of room to spread out. The first floor had the game area, a small kitchen, 2 bedrooms with king sized beds and two bathrooms. The second/main floor had 3 bedrooms with king beds and 2 1/2 bathrooms. The third floor housed the bunk room and another half bath. The house was well appointed with everything we needed. Communication with the homeowners was wonderful. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and were quick to respond with any questions.

Pros definitely outweighed the cons

Christmas vacation with the family (4 families technically) was amazing at Blue Moon Lodge. The host were amazing with communication. We didn't want to eat out so each family had days to cook so we had a ton of food. Having two kitchens was extremely helpful. The was so much space for all of us to spread out and come together. The adults turned into kids as we played downstairs in the game area. Every morning we had plenty of space to do yoga before breakfast. And of course everyone favorite was the outside. Hot tub overlooking the beautiful mountain view, wrap around deck to relax or take stunning pictures was just the best. Unfortunately, I had a few issues. The floors were dirty and desperately needed to be swept. The towels and wash rags probably need to be replaced. The dishes, silverware and cooking appliances were a struggle to use at times because they were old and worn out. I didn't expect to have high end kitchen tools but some of the appliances, silverware, etc. need some attention. Also, the chairs in the dining room/bar need some station as well. But none of that ruined our vacation. This place has plenty of space and amenities to keep us entertained. Would definitely return to this beautiful cabin. The pictures do not do this place justice. Thank you again Brett and Stephanie. My family had an amazing time at your lovely home.

Biltmore Christmas

There were 14 of us total and no one was even close to cramped. The house is set up to accommodate large groups and provides plenty of entertainment even if you can’t get out. We use it as a home base and it was great. The owners were more than accommodating keeping in touch with us along the way.

Great Time!

Our young adult ministry has used this home for two years now, and we love the property and location! It is close enough to several unique mountain towns but secluded enough and big enough to spread out and unplug and have a great time together. The owners are very helpful and quick to respond with any questions you may have!

Outstanding Experience!

Me and my best buddies in the world (12 of us!) made a 6 day motorcycle trip using this wonderful property as our "home" each night. I can't say enough positive things about the entire experience. We had an absolute fabulous time. Thank you so much Brett for opening up your wonderul home to us!

We celebrated our Mother’s 80th birthday here with our whole family! Kitchen with everything you need! Super amazing bunk-bedroom where all the young girls stayed! We had the best time ever!

We were very happy with this cabin for our friend reunion weekend. It was very clean and there were plenty of bathrooms for everyone. The host communicated with us promptly when we had questions or concerns. Would definitely stay here again or recommend to a friend.

Yearly getaway

Blue moon was a great experience for my group. It’s divided into two homes with the eagles nest on the upper level. The wrap around porches were a hit with all of the guys. Spacious and well equipped; I would definitely recommend this one for every age group. Thanks for letting us enjoy your Home !!!!

We have stayed at this cabin in the past and it doesn't disappoint! Comfortable space for multiple families and about 30 minutes from Maggie Valley. We go hiking each year, riding stable also close as well.

The Best “Framily” Getaway

This was the perfect home to host a short getaway with a group of friends. Five small families (each with 1-2 young children) all stayed together, and it was SO comfortable. The rooms are spacious, the living areas were open, and FIVE KING BEDS was the cherry on top. We had room to spread out without anyone feeling isolated. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and the wide variety of entertainment options kept everyone happy. The only negative we could find about the property was that the drive in was a tight gravel road that was pretty steep. It didn’t give us any trouble, but also isn’t ideal for anxious drivers (or passengers!). But honestly, the view was worth it! This also isn’t the best location if you absolutely need to have access to cell service. A landline is available in the cabin though and you can get service within a mile or so of the house. Overall, fantastic home in a beautiful location with everything you might need. If this house is available, we will 100% return for another vacation with friends!

Family Christmas vacation

The cabin was perfect for our family. It had many extras that we didn’t expect such as hotel shampoos and lotions. The kitchen was stocked well with cooking needs.

Plenty of room

Pros: The house is very large. Comfortable beds for people. We comfortably fit 4 vehicles there. 2 Large open kitchen and living room areas on lower and middle floor! Great for family time! Large wrap around porches with plenty of space for cooking/eating/etc. Owners were friendly and called to let us know we could check in early! They had 2 high chairs that were a huge help for us. Fun pool table, Hot tub and ping pong. Cons: Wifi was not the best. The satellite TVs didn’t work great either and zero cell service at the cabin….but sometimes that isn’t always a bad thing! Air hockey table didn’t blow air very well but still usable.
