Upon arriving there was no staff available to check me in, I was also charged extra outside of my Expedia charge, excluding my extra request. This property is an extended stay hotel not like the other Sonesta properties. Room was dirty, inside the closet was dusty, the bathroom and couch smelled like urine. I couldn’t sit on it without a cover on it. The Wi-Fi & TV was also unavailable for an entire day, I tried calling the number for help & no one answered. Overall not a good property , I was extremely misled by the photos of the rooms.

The room door was jammed. I couldn’t even stay here because I didn’t feel comfortable knowing the door wouldn’t lock. And the tv is very outdated. When I turned the tv on it said no connection. Will not be coming back here again. However they did offer me a full refund and I’m grateful.

Reservations made about a week prior. Have been here about every 6 months since 2023 for my daughter's appointment (sometimes sooner if we are picking up a new brace) because we like the location. Jan15 was a major snow/ice storm that affected Buffalo to Westlake so our 5 1/2 hr trip turned into over 8 hrs. I recieved a call at 9:14 pm from a number that came up as Residence Inn by Marriott asking if I wanted to keep my room, if not they understand because the roads were bad and could cancel my room and let expedia know I wasn't charged. I thought I booked the wrong hotel because of number so I told them to cancel. I went in to book again (way more expensive) to make sure we had somewhere to stay. After booking I realized that the original booking was correct, since I was only 10 minutes away I asked the lady at the check-in if I could have my original booking back. She told me I could and I got upgraded for the same price. We settled into our room (which lacked garbage cans, dirty floors, and a messy couch), we found a place to eat and then went to bed. When I realized I was charged for both rooms I called the hotel, Jessica said she had distinctly remembered me from checking in and had to upgrage me to fit "all my kids" and set off the fire alarm which is why I had to pay for both rooms and why they denied the refund when requested by expedia. She said it was all documented in the notes of my stay, only stopping to ask what car I drove.Time to find a new place.

Jess called me at 3:40pm saying the room I booked was not available and was unable to provide another room with handicap accessibility. She suggested going to a location over 20 minutes away and I said I need something closer. Jess (asst manager) assured me I would not be charged. I was charged and now have to go through hoops for refund. We’ve stayed at this location before no issues never again.

We travel a lot & will always look for a Sonesta from now on. I’ll be honest, we weren’t thinking ahead for Thanksgiving. We booked 2 rooms for 6 people. On our way in, the receptionist called & offered us an upgrade to a suite. So we we had a kitchen & were able to make a Thanksgiving dinner together. It was a great day off- we did our laundry & it was so comfy. Thank you so much for your kindness!

Fully equipped kitchen, clean room, adequate parking, good in room amenities, great location by alot of restaurants and shopping. My issue was the first room I was assigned reeked heavily of cigarette smoke, even with the window open. The staff was friendly, responsive, apologetic and accommodating. They quickly moved me to a fresh room closer to the front of the building. Overall, a good experience for one night. I would stay here again.

Room was not as advertised, they do not have ANY working fire places. All have been removed. That was a MAJOR reason for the rental. The room did not feel clean, and upon entering the room I immediately find 3 foot bright blue suitcase filled with someone's belongings from before my stay. Did not even sleep in the bed slept on the couch. Would not recommend a stay here.
