Don't Do It

The entire experience start to finish made us very uncomfortable. This is a very run down building and apartment. The garage is in a state of disrepair and very dark/unsafe. The apartment had dirty walls, cracked tiles in the kitchen, and had not been cleaned well. I contacted the owners (who were always very responsive) but go no offer of any type of resolution or compensation. We were supposed to stay two nights but were so uncomfortable we got up and just left. Again, the owners said they were sorry we were not comfortable and safe travels. No offer to do anything to make up for the horrible experience. So, paid for two nights and cleaning and barely stayed one. Very sketchy place and situation.

The outside area was a bit sketchy at night but the apartment was large and nice. The building seemed a bit old but it was clean and everyone was friendly. Communication with the hosts was wonderful. They answered texts quickly and were incredibly helpful. The Healthline bus was right outside our door which took us to Tower City and the train there took us right to the airport. It was really convenient! And inexpensive! We spent two days at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame which was amazing and got there by a short Lyft trip. We had a great time and would definitely stay at the Lofts again.

Tolle Lage, grosses Apartment

Ich war in einem zwei Bett Apartment für 10 Tage. Die Tiefgarage ist ein großer Pluspunkt dieses Hauses, wenn man mit dem Auto kommt. Der Vermieter beantwortet jede Frage ausgührlich und schnell. Die Anweisungen für Apartmentschlüssel Übergabe (Keybox) sowie Codes für Haustür und Tiefgarage (Einfahrt ist hinter dem Haus auf der Swingo Court) kommen rechtzeitig vor dem Check-In. Folgende Aussage gilt nicht nur für dieses Haus sondern, im allgemeinen sind die angebotenen Apartments in Downtown Cleveland, etwas nachlässig mit der Sauberkeit. Das ist mein drittes Apartment, in drei unterschiedlichen Häusern und die Sauberkeit ist im Bereich 7 von 10 (ich vergleiche hier ähnliche Apartments mit Deutschland). Dieser Umstand wird leider auch nicht besser, wenn man es vor der Anreise anspricht. Das Apartment in der 1900 Euclid Avenue liegt direkt gegenüber der Cleveland State University (CSU). Unten befindet sich im ein Middleeast Laden (Marokko/Syrien) für ein leckeres Mittagessen (die Reis Bowl war sehr lecker und sättigend). Leider lungern Abends, wie in Downtown CLE üblich, irgendwelche Leute die jeden anbetteln der vorbei kommt. Ein Abendspaziergang wird somit etwas anstrengend, aber nicht unbedingt gefährlich.
