Our family of 7 thoroughly enjoyed our time at Casa Tranquilo. Ralph the host communicated often before and after booking, as well as throughout our stay. Nacho, the property manager, was top notch. He was available at the drop of a hat for anything, and I mean anything. We even didn’t get to the property until around 1:30 am and Nacho was at the property to make sure we could get in and situated. We had a couple minor maintenance items that we told Nacho about and they were very promptly taken care of. The property is amazing! If you want to feel like you are truly in the rainforest by yourself, but with all of the amenities, then we highly recommend this property!

Casa Tranquilo is nestled in paradise, surrounded by the rainforest and the calming sounds of nature. The house is impeccable in terms of cleanliness. The bedrooms are comfortable and equipped with their own air units and balconies overlooking the canopy. Two of the bedrooms are large king suites, and two are queen bedrooms with a common bathroom. The views from the bedroom balconies are tranquil and overlooking the lush green forest; great spot for private morning coffee. The house is located in a quiet gated community and yet is completely private. The road to the house is easy to access, however the last 150 feet would serve best with a 4x4 vehicle (which we found useful in all of Costa Rica). The community has nearby shopping and good restaurants. We enjoyed heliconia Restaurant and the nearby community of Ojachal (which has shopping and a great variety of food options).The pool side is well equipped with comfortable outdoor furniture, a BBQ.In high praise, we must mention the hosts of the property and Nacho, who replied within seconds of any inquiry we had and acted promptly. Nacho is extremely helpful and can assist in all aspects. Very nice people and very nice atmosphere.Would certainly recommend this property for a lovely relaxing vacaty.

Casa Tranquilo was just as advertised- paradise in paradise. The place seems quite new, with very modern, clean, and luxurious design. Loved that there was so much glass to let in sunlight and appreciate the natural setting. Felt like we were literally in the jungle. Really liked that the windows all had screens including the sliding doors, and all bedrooms had blinds to create privacy as needed or block out light. Each of the rooms have their own mini split AC which was great. Furniture was new. Kitchen was fantastic and well stocked. Plenty of linens including beach towels. Ralph was very communicative, making sure to check in on us periodically up until the trip and during the trip. Nacho, who is the host/concierge, was fantastic to work with. He met us and drove us up to the place which would have been difficult to find the first time, but very secluded in a gated setting. He had basic groceries already in the fridge including milk, juice, some fruit, and even bought a couple bottles of wine to welcome us. He made sure everything was taken care of for us and was very responsive. The location was perfect for us as we wanted to visit both Corcovado and Manuel Antonio, along with scuba diving at Cano island which was a boat trip out of Uvita. All in all, we had a fantastic time and Ralph and Nacho made sure that Casa Tranquilo was the perfect place to rest at the end of some very busy days.

Absolute paradise

Our stay on this property was amazing everything from communication to all the extra amenities provided that were not part of the description. Nacho was excellent and even though we arrived much later than expected, he was there assisting us with everything you could imagine. We would highly recommend this property to anyone that was looking for a place to stay in Costa Rica.

Aptly Named

The area is definitely tranquil. Beautiful jungle setting. Perfect for unwinding. The house is new and modern. Every thing worked well. Nacho was very helpful and set up a few outings for us with no problems. Definitely recommend this property

Tranquility

The near all glass house sits atop a rainforest with fabulous views and a great outdoor pool. It is also minutes from pristine beaches. The kitchen is well equipped, and the bedrooms comfortable with private bathrooms and balconies. The host was super attentive and responsive It also comes with a local concierge who greeted us upon arrival and arranged superb outings. We will come back for sure.

Beautiful Casa Tranquilo

My family ( myself,my wife and 4 boys ranging in age from15-23) absolutely loved this home. It was perfect in every way. Ralph the owner, was so helpful , kind and gracious. Although we never met in person , he was so helpful even in the weeks leading up to the vacation with many helpful tips and recommendations.He also put me in touch with the property manager Nacho who was such a nice man who continually checked in on us to make sure everything was okay and if we were in need of anything. Nacho was also a tremendous help in booking excursions for us. Even though most were booked solid, Nacho used his connections and made sure we did everything we wanted to do.Thank you so much Nacho. As for the home itself,we were a bit nervous at first hoping that the home would live up to the pictures.All that disappeared once we entered the home, WOW. It was even more beautiful and spacious in person.every bedroom was spectacular with their own balcony and bathroom. Everything was so clean and new. We felt like we were entering a brand new house that had never been lived in.The house has many large windows in every room , and each one with spectacular views of the mountains and rainforest. But our favorite was the outside, with the perfect double infinity pool and plenty of seating and loungers for all of us. The location was also perfect, very close to Uvita , and Dominical. Numerous beaches and excursions all within a thirty minute drive. Thank you Ralph and Nacho Pura Vida
