Amazing stay in Casalini

Nous avons adoré notre séjour au trulli acquarossa. Décoré avec goût et très agréable à vivre. La météo nous n'a pas permis de tester la piscine mais l'endroit au milieu de la nature est magique.

Idylic!

A stunning and beautifully furnished property in a secluded location. We stayed as two families, nine in total and the house was plenty spacious enough for us all. The outdoor areas were great for relaxing and we made good use of the barbeque area. You definitely need a car as the property is remote but this meant that we didn't have to worry about noise with small children. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to anyone visiting the Puglia region.

Le trullo est situé dans une magnifique région. L’extérieur de la propriété est très agréable, entouré d’oliviers et de figuiers. Par contre, la cuisine mériterait d’être rénové, surtout l’évier qui est en très mauvais état. D’autre part, il y a une seule unité de climatisation dans la cuisine. Les chambres n’en bénéficient pas ce qui est un problème.

Wir waren begeistert!

Ausgesprochen schönes und bis ins Detail geschmackvoll gestaltetes Ferienhaus auf wunderbar gelegenem Grundstück. Besonders schön sind die wohnlichen Aussenplätze direkt am Haus und am Pool. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Der Empfang und die Kommunikation mit dem Vermietern war sehr herzlich.

Tastefully decorated Trullo

We had a great stay with our grown up kids. Nina was very efficient in responding and her guide of places to eat and visit was excellent. The villa is very nicely decorated and has everything you need. The bedrooms were warm as the AC is only in the central area and we did ask for the pool to be cleaned as once a week on a Friday may not be enough! These were small issues and we would certainly recommend the villa.

Stay in the countryside

We had a wonderful stay. The property is full of character and comfort. Angelita made us welcome and was exceedingly gracious and helpful with everything. The location was perfect for visiting the whole Val d’Istria.

Trullo Sotto - Cisternino

Fanastic Trullo, lovely host (Angelita who was exceptional) and owner (Nina, who clearly cared). We were very well looked after and felt valued as guests. The Trullo was everything we expected and hoped for. We have no hesitation in recommending.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft

Das Trullo befindet in the middle of nowhere :-) und das ist gut so. Absolute Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit findet man hier. Das Anwesen ist gut ausgestattet, eine gut funktionierende Fussbodenheizung sorgt auch an kalten Tagen für angenehme Temperaturen. Der Pool ist gross und sauber, man verfügt über drei Schlafzimmer mit drei Badezimmern. Da es keinen Telefonempfang gibt, ist das WiFi wichtig. Es läuft gut. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl und kommen gern wieder.

Our best holiday yet

Dreamy just a perfect trulli home to stay in it has given us the best experience ever, our host Nina was amazing and easy to talk too, this holiday was booked before covid and I just didn’t think it would ever happen, also Angelita met us late because our flight was delayed and she was a angel and helped us with anything at a drop of a hat, even showed us a restaurant to eat at late because we were all so hungry just so friendly and a comfort to know she was there for us regarding anything. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

Beautiful Villa in the Countryside

My family and I (husband, 2 boys 13 and 10) had a wonderful relaxing stay in this beautiful villa. The villa was immaculately clean, the gardens well kept and we had everything we needed for our weeks stay and really enjoyed our holiday. The pool was clean and there was a net provided which the boys loved fishing out any stray bugs that might have flown in overnight! The internet dropped off a couple of times but we followed the instructions in the welcome pack and were connected back quickly, there is very little phone signal but this did not bother us we were able to make online calls if we needed too. Location is perfect for exploring by car to all the nearby towns and villages, Alberoberro and Martina Franca were my favourite's however there are so many more lovely places to visit too. We loved it here and would definitely come back.

A great stay

We were two families traveling with four kids, the house didn’t at any point feel to small - there was lots of space both indoors and outdoors. The house and the surroundings are beautiful and very calming, also its close to all the cities you may want to visit. Both Nina and the local contact Angelita are very friendly and quick to respond when texting. One night we had a chief over at the house to cook for us, it was a lovely experience. We would definitely come back any time!

Perfect villa in the countryside

We had a brilliant week in the villa and could have stayed much much longer. Perfect places to relax and enjoy the countryside. Weather was warm and sunny so made good use of the villa and the amazing pool area. Also plenty of nice towns nearby to go and explore and lots of good restaurants to choose from. Very good communication with Nina before our arrival and Angelita is absolutely amazing, friendly, helpful and so knowledgeable about the area. We will definitely be back again

Thruly wonderful

An amazing charming trulli in the middle of the hills of central Puglia. The house was everything we expected and much more. A perfect central starting point to discover Puglia, not far from beautiful beaches and close to historic villages and cities. On top of that a delightful swimming pool to cool down on warm days. Angelita, our contact person, was very friendly, helpful with suggestions and always reacted quick on our messages. We hope to come here again with the whole family and highly recommend this trulli.

Un lieu magique

Authentique, isolé et en pleine nature, le trulli de Nina est un merveilleux endroit pour passer des vacances de rêve. Tout est pensé d'un point de vue pratique et agencé avec beaucoup de goût. Sa localisation permet de rayonner et visiter les lieux touristiques des Pouilles sans oublier les plages qui ne sont pas loin. Nous avons eu la chance de rencontrer Nina qui est une hôte extrêmement accueillante et à l'écoute.

Good location for exploring Puglia

Trullo di Sotto, in the hamlet of Casalini, is in a peaceful spot a few minutes drive from the main road. Communication with Nina was good and she was very understanding of the issues we had delaying our arrival due to unforeseen circumstances. The three bedrooms are spacious, two with en-suites and one with separate bathroom plus there's a dining area, sitting room and tiny kitchen. Ample outdoor space is provided which is pleasant for dining in the heat. The pool was cleaned once during the week we stayed and that was at my request as it was already dirty when we arrived (it gets cleaned on a Friday and we arrived on Tuesday). The bottom was dirty and the surface continually had leaves and insects floating on it which I'd happily have cleaned out if there had been a net provided. I consider for the price we paid that the pool would've been cleaned more frequently as I too rent a property to guests and the pool is cleaned daily, rubbish collected and gardens watered. The biggest issue for us was the wi-fi and although the listing states that this is provided via satellite and therefore can't always be guaranteed, what we experienced was a constantly unreliable service that required frequent resetting daily. It was impossible to do any continuous work as it was lost when the wifi went down and the service was barely sufficient for checking emails. This is obviously a known issue as we were advised on check in to "just flip the mains switch" which, as it transpired, we were doing several times a day. The problem wasn't helped by power outages over the first two days which made contacting anyone for assistance difficult as there was no phone signal or internet to try to find out what was happening. As others have commented, the trullo is extremely hot inside and although fans are provided, the A/C is only in the main kitchen/dining area. The bathrooms are well equipped however the shower flooded the floor with each use as the shower curtains were insufficient to stop water escaping. Not a major issue but having had a couple of slips, it occurred to me it may be a problem for older people or with kids running around. The trullo is nicely decorated, the kitchen is equipped with the basics for cooking, the location is good for exploring Puglia and enjoying the beaches and towns.

Trulli verblijf in de natuur, in alle rust.

Leuke Trulli, behoorlijke inrichting met het nodige comfort. Al zou een kleine airco in de slaapkamer helpen op de warmste perioden. Mooi en rustig gelegen in de natuur. Jammer dat het laatste stuk weg er echt slecht bij ligt. Een klein beetje onderhoud aan het veldweggetje zou veel aangenamer “thuiskomen” zijn. En een stabiele WIFI verbinding is in deze tijden niet te missen. Zeker als er ook geen GSM verkeer mogelijk is op deze locatie. Leuke natuurlijke tuin, met gezellige/knusse zithoekjes. Een “oud” zwembad, maar zeer verzorgd en proper! Leuke, authentieke dorpen in de buurt. Met kleine gezellige straatjes om op een leuke manier in te verdwalen. Zeer warme dorpelingen, waar je makkelijk contact mee kan leggen. Geweldige restaurantjes , barretjes en andere eetgelegenheden. Telkens met betaalbare en eerlijke keuken met lekkere streekproducten als eten en drinken. Zeer veel bezienswaardigheden in de directe omgeving. Een wagen is onmisbaar. Overall een absolute aanrader. Wij verbleven met 6 volwassenen.

Holiday in Trullo land

Fantastic location in an authentic and tastefully renovated Trullo. We loved our stay. WiFi is only weak point probably as location is isolated but I'm sure this will be improved for the future.

Trulli in de buurt van Cisternino

Prachtige Trulli op zeer rustige locatie. Absolute rust en stilte maar wel met alle nodige comfort. Enige nadeel is dat er geen gsm bereik is en ook de WiFi voorzieningen het vaak laten afweten . Dit is bij momenten wel lastig. Verder echt topverblijf.

An absolutely beautiful property and the host is very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend.

The property was absolutely stunning. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and the location was perfect. Nina and the local contact Angelita were both extremely helpful and made sure we had all the information we needed for our stay. Highly recommend staying here if you are going on a holiday to Puglia.
