This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. It is a lovely old building. Steep stairs and no lift due to age of building. Not a problem for us. But maybe a consideration for some, although I think there may be some ground floor rooms. Large carpark at back of hotel a bonus. Lovely garden and short walk to town centre. We would definitely stay again next time we're in Cirencester.

Wonderful stay over the weekend. Sunday lunch was brilliant. The staff were all so helpful. I cannot recommend this hotel enough, will definitely be staying again.

A very good location in Cirencester. The breakfast was good and the service friendly. The free parking was a bonus. Our room, a signature one, overlooked the car park, was overpriced and the en-suite tiny. No one could get the towel rail to work. There was noise from the bar below us in the early evening and everywhere smelt strongly of fried food. Not for us.

Home from home!

Friendly welcome. Characterful building, both times I've stayed here so far I've had rooms with old, original features eg old beams. Clean and comfortable rooms, firm but comfortable beds. If I'm going to nitpick, the low water pressure makes the shower a bit underwhelming, but I'm really being fussy. The food is homecooked and so good, especially the pies! Friendly service in the restaurant. My hotel of choice when working in the area!

It is a very old building that has been done up nicely so the rooms are very comfortable. Stairs to the room are very small so if possible leave you big suitcase in your car and take a small bag in.

This is an old hotel and sympathetically furnished. My room was at the top with beams and funny shaped doors. It felt like stepping back in time. I spent only one night there but would recommend it if you're exploring the area. Lovely staff who were very helpful. Lots to choose on the breakfast menu too. Would definitely return.
