This spacious and well appointed apartment is situated in the grange attached to our 18th century farmhouse and set in 1 acre of south facing garden with 10m x 5m shared pool enjoying a wonderful, natural setting with suberb mountain views.
We are situated at the base of the Haute Pyrenees within the village of Cieutat, which has a traditional 'boulangerie' providing freshly made bread/croissants and patisserie every morning.
Gites de Bigorre is the perfect place for whatever event or activity holiday you are planning – or just for total relaxation in a stunning setting.
The apartment is well placed for all mountain activities i.e skiing, cycling, walking at all levels, mountain biking, paragliding, horse riding, bird watching and fishing. For golfers there is a beautiful international 18-hole course (overlooking the mountains) within a 5mins drive. Or take things at a more leisurely pace and visit the local mountain villages, nearby Pau, beautiful St Bertrand de Comminges, a pilgrimage to Lourdes, take a day trip over the mountains into Spain via the many passes or tunnels or visit one of the numerous thermal spas.
The Tour de France is also a big attraction here in July and in the winter there is some of the best skiing and winter sports facilities in the Pyrenees.
The gite benefits from a shared pool in the privacy of the main garden with fantastic panoramic views. The perfect way to end an active day or to simply relax the day away.
