Good location and spacious room! We had two levels with a bedroom on the lower level and additional beds upstairs in a loft style set up. Overall clean, but a little dusty in certain zones. Kitchen had all the basics for breakfast & light food preparation. Dishwashing supplies were provided, which was handy. Overall, happy with the stay but facilities felt a bit outdated, especially the bathroom and shower.

After a long drive and busy day, arriving at Camelot Motel with lovely Rose Gardens Friendly Welcome at Reception, excellent parking, we were able to relax and unwind after the busy day... At Camelot Motel you are transferred to another time .... The bustling city on the street outside seems a million miles away... Plus excellent value for money and Fido Friendly .. It's our number one choice when visiting CHCH

Room was old and shabby lights falling out of ceiling and wall in shower rubbish under beds dirty cuboards on inside.no love at all needs update urgently. Have stayed here for 15 years, not now. Old rice and noodles in tea and coffee container.

The parking around the back units is very tight and not enough spaces overnight, we had to park on the road 2 out of our 3 nights. During the day, the cleaning crew were loud and unprofessional. Laying down in their cars right outside our unit, on their phones watching loud reels sitting right outside out unit, communicating by yelling at eachother - it was not peaceful during the times we were there during the day.

Comfortable stay near Hagley Park

We had a generous sized room and comfortable bed. Our room had all the amenities, although the motel is a little old fashioned. Receptionist is friendly and helpful. Good eating spots nearby. Love the location so close to Hagley Park and the Botanic Gardens. Motel is just outside the city center.
