Great location!
If location is your priority--where you want to be in Hyde Park close to UChicago--then this property is an excellent choice. The property was perfectly clean and had some personal touches. But it seems as though the property has been newly furnished and newly outfitted, so it seems likely additional comforts and improvements will be forthcoming. For example, we thought there was no toilet paper as there was only a quarter of a roll left in the bathroom and no extra rolls stored in the bathroom; we did later locate 3 rolls above the fridge in the kitchen and in the front hall closet, which was not intuitive. We were unable to find any conditioner or a hair dryer in the VRBO. If you are traveling with a toddler, there was no pack and play or travel crib. We were four adults and one toddler, but we only had one set of keys. Because there are two additional locked doors before you enter the apartment, it would be helpful for guests of a three bedroom apartment to have more than one set of keys to avoid needing to coordinate all movements.
