The apartment was nice except for the noise from the elevated train nearby- very loud - thanks for the ear plugs! The shower was great, kitchen stocked with everything for cooking. My husband noticed that the windows weren’t fully closed and latched…they were off their tracks. We wrestled them closed which helped with noise. The blue shag area rug in the living area is a tripping hazard - it kept bunching up. The overhead fan in one of the bedrooms didn’t work. Parking is tough to find but we usually got a spot within 2-3 blocks. Safe, walkable neighborhood. I liked that there weren’t too many checkout instructions. Have stayed at some places that have a dozen things you have to do before leaving. Christine was very responsive to any messages, which was appreciated.

Great location for our stay, lots of places to eat and shop nearby. Cooked several meals in the kitchen, found all that we needed. Property is very clean and comfortable, everything matched the listing. Host was quick to reply, and helpful when we needed advise. Several others noted the sound of the trains nearby, we were not bothered, although some might be. The host has made everything within their control set up for a pleasant stay.

The apartment is so closecto the L that it sounded like a jet engine passing when the express went by. This was described as "city sounds", which understates the noise level considerably. I have lived in multiple urban settings where I was near trains, subways, construction, and for a year, a schoolyard where they used bullhorns at 8am -- that was "city sounds"-- this was much more noisy. If you have no trouble sleeping, it will be worth it for the good price, nice accommodations and excellent convenience of the neighborhood and the very communicative owner.

Apartment was clean. Heat is from old steam radiators and overheated the apartment. Had to open some windows. Better than too cold I guess.

It was a great location for my friend and our two daughters! Walkable to many shops restaurants. Very safe! It is literally RIGHT NEXT to the train, but the provided ear plugs and constant running AC helped. I would recommend that you get a new couch. Not comfortable at all ... there wasn't really anywhere comfy to hang out after a long day of walking. Chairs on the patio would have been nice, too. We ended up bringing out the chairs from the kitchen.

Our stay was fantastic. The place is cozy and the beds are very comfortable. There are full length mirrors in each room and the hallway so getting ready is very easy! Communication with the host is fast and reliable. We had an amazing time!!!

Awesome location, easy walk to everything. Convenient to transit (brown, purple, red lines.) Comfortable and spacious unit. Responsive host. We heard the trains, but were not bothered by them. I would definitely stay there again!
