Everything, very unique and exciting experience. Already looking to book again.
I had an amazing stay! The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. It was a unique experience and I definitely plan on visiting again on the future.
I briefly tried to sleep in room 1. Whatever the noise that repeats every 5 minutes or so was awful. I travel with silicone earplugs. Attempted to sleep from 11 until 2 when I got fed up with the noise and just left. Also there are roaches under the toaster. Saw the black trap so yall are aware of those. I can honestly get over a bug, but being unable to sleep ruined a competition I’d been training months for.
We had the most interesting an friendly stay at B & L. It was like staying in a curated historic boarding house. Leslie the owner/manager/decorator/"tour guide", was so helpful and patience with our group of 10 friends. each room was themed after a part of her family heritage and experiences.
I highly recommend staying there.
DO NOT BOOK at this INN!!! There is no one on the property. It is in the middle of nowhere. A ghost town. When I arrived, there were no cars, no lights on the outside. I tried calling several times with a message that picks up on the first ring. No call back. I tried to get in for over an hour. I felt like I was in Texas Chain Saw massacre!!!! I had to drive over 30 miles to find another hotel. One of the most worst experiences in booking a hotel. There ratings are FAKE! Save your time and money. Book somewhere else.
The owners did a fantastic job renovating this old building. Each room is unique and stays with the time period of the building.
The community bathrooms provide a unique environment. My daughter and I chatted with such nice ladies as we were going in and out of the bathroom area.
It was convenient that there are no specific hours for the breakfast bar. There was a fine variety of easy, make for yourself options.
My daughter had yogurt and oatmeal, and I had toasted peanut butter and jelly with coffee, of course.
The owner was friendly.
This is a fabulous property. Built in 1887 and still has that historic feel. The owners are awesome and did a great job renovating the building. You must know that it has a large shared bathroom area, no bathrooms in individual rooms. This wasn’t a problem for us but something to be aware of. The bathrooms are well designed and still private spaces just not in your room.
The beds are outrageously comfortable and the best towels I’ve ever used. There are no TVs anywhere and this allowed for a nice break and forced game and reading time.
This is a must stay at place!
