At the check-in, the credit card machine was not working. They tried my three cards with no success. Finally the check-in person accepted that there was nothing wrong with all my cards. After we moved in our room, we found out that the TV in the room was not working. They tried to fix the TV and eventually gave up and gave us another room.

The room felt neglected. Wi-Fi was continuously dropping. Dirty bathroom sheets, bucket, mug etc. Not worth the price if not for the location. Only positive was the support staff. They were really good.

Terrible stay at Aveneue 11, Chennaj

I’m mislead with reviews (8.6!!) to choose this utterly poor property for our family stay. The room was stinking, pathetic wash room supplies, inadequate breakfast menu etc., etc. On top of it, there’s no place for your parking your car. I would never recommend this property to anyone.

Chennai is a hella busy place but it doesn't feel like it when you stay here. It's off the main road and no through roads so not any traffic other than local traffic. Very peaceful and quiet. Lots of big beautiful trees line the roads. Staff were super friendly and accomadating to our needs. Let us check in 3 hours early without any prior request. The bed was super comfy and our room was turned down each day with new water bottles provided and new towels etc, which was a wonderful suprise. Was very plesent stay and would stay again. Thank you guys would recommend if getting taxi from airport the locals know the area reffered to as poe's garden (where the Bollywood celebrity lives)

Good for short stay in a posh neighborhood

Excellent neighborhood in Chennai, nestled amidst centrury old trees. Needs a little walk to access restaurants or shops. The support staff was cordial and accommodated all requests starting from early morning check-in to early breakfast. Will need slight more upkeep at the pricepoint it is offering stays.

The breakfast starts from 8 and closes by 10. This is very much different from what other hotels and stay offers. This is very much inconvenience for people who are having US consulate interviews for the early morning slots.
