I picked this hotel due to the proximity of UNC Charlotte. We are visiting colleges with our daughter so wanted a location central to a couple of the schools we were visiting. We especially loved the breakfast - lots of options and got the day started right. The hotel also had a manager's reception on our second day with finger foods and beverages. That was very appreciated so we didn't have to go out for dinner. The room was clean and very adequate - I'm not a big fan of hotel room coffee but Hampton Inn and Suites had coffee available 24/7 so once you wake up, you can head down to the lobby for coffee to wake you up. I would definitely stay here again if I visit Charlotte!
